The major downside to robotic vacuums is that you have to change out the water frequently. I still don't understand why having in mind that their kickstarter campaign has 7 days left, they only provided access to testers for sponsored videos...but anyways, for me the water purification system would be a HUGE win if it works, not only because of plumbers and stuff but also because you otherwise need to have a veeeeery specific spot in the house with good access to pipes and no big edges on the entrance in order to have an automated experience. And even so, the usual dirty water tank will stink as hell even if it is automatically pumped out. So having no dirty water tank and working with purified water seems like the future for these robots. Also, the trend of mop cleaning on the go is great as well to make sure you are not just dragging dirt around. Only downside I see is that the side brush doesn't turn off when it sees something wet and dirty which probably means it will drag some dirt around even though I expect the roller brush would clean most of it unless there is a carpet directly after.

I agree. It would be nice to see them update the robot to stop the side brush when a wet mess is detected just as it already turns off the vacuum. The water purification and dehumidifier system truly is a game changer. I can use this for days and never have to worry about replacing the water.

@DroidModderX thanks for reaching back! So you are happy with the filtration system? The water seems fine and it doesn't have any bad smell or anything? I don't have any pets or huge rugs or anything special (maybe special kind of lazy :D ) so for my i guess this is the most important feature and maaaaybe small object avoidance because of the kids toys but even that is not a huge deal since i normally try to clean up, otherwise the robot will be blocked even if he avoids the toys..

That is a good question. I haven't really tested that out. I need to take a look at that as the dehumidifier does run through the night.

Another good example of corner mopping. Just when the robot in the video was going to the corner, it was cut off(4:22), why? The robot doesn't seem to perform very well in corners, although the manufacturer claims the following "When it comes to edge mopping, the 3i S10 Ultra will Redefine what it means to clean every corner". Nobody shows this in their videos, not even you.
