The "temple" with many red pillars you saw was Not a (Buddhist) temple, it is the Grand Hotel. The name of the Restaurant, "Lao-Gong Lao-Po", literally means "Hubby (&) Wifey" or "lovey-dovey", notthing about grand-parents.

Raina, I’m 1 min 50 sec into your video but I think I should point these out right away… First of all, the “temple” place is the oldest hotel in Taiwan - 圓山大飯店. Second, “老公老婆” means husband and wife, not grandparents…

I hope I'm wrong but I don't think you'll finish . It's right up your alley though with all the food you have to mix up . I think you need some kind of sauce to make it easier. Your having to drink a lot to get it down . When you pinch your nose most of the time that means your already feeling it .

Lao gong is husband and Lao po is wife. It means husband and wife, not grandparents. The "high school teacher" is a professional eater, he challenged in Japan before.
