Review of the 3M 7502 anti virus, gas and dust face mask. Fits snuggly unlike a 3-ply surgical mask. Totally recommended! Bought it on the Shopee app by 936311630.my seller for just $15 USD!

Just ordered the 7502, not for covid but for work. I work around silica dust and extraction solvents so I ordered the 2091 filter and 6006 cartridge. Maybe i will use it for a covid mask too if it is comfortable. Good review!

@‌ Except the whole point of a mask is to attenuate spreading it to others, which this one does not do because it has a vent. So the air you exhale is not filtered at all. I find this particularly annoying because people are buying these up for the pandemic, and I need them for work.

@@woody5563 good point! Yes, I missed out that the exhaust vent means that you are just protecting yourself and not others! That is why I am wearing the cheap standard 3 ply mask most of the time now. If you are looking for the 3M respirator for work, I would suggest buying from China. Plenty of stock since most people in Asia are just using the cheap 3 ply masks now. They have brought down the price to like 30 cents usd per piece here now.

@@woody5563 NIOSH has done studies that show the source control in respirators with exhalation valves is better than that of cloth or surgical masks

I had this one and just got the Quicklatch version today. Amazon USA has P100 7093 filters at normal prices. I put a regular medical mask over the exhale valve vertically and pull the ear loops over and under the back of the mask so nobody says I'm breathing covid on them. I have an older version from my carpentry days that's over 10 years and the tabs that hold the elastics never broke. I try telling friends this is the only mask that will save their butts cause Covid ain't joking around but they're not listening.

I settled on the 3M 60926 with a similar half face mask. They sometimes called them DOUBLE stack -- good for OV and P100. Air smells so fresh when I wear it and offers P100. If I have to wear a mask, I might as well go with the best for maximum protection. It is a little bulky but great breathing.

Was your 3M 7502 respirator comes in a bag sealed lock, it comes in a zip lock bag, but top was fully sealed? Please go read the 3M website, there is so many different types of filters, combos, P100 Particulate combo filter,...different filters for different applications...clean mask before use?

No, the top not fully sealed but the filters came in the bag that was fully sealed. 😅

@@ShermanChin yes, exactly my friend...3M should be enforcing NIOSH Health and Safety protocols for vacuum sealing their products that comes out of the manufacturing plants, either in China or North American (USA & Canada) At this stage, 3M can't risk the safety of the products to each end user. You pay top dollars for top products!! Contact 3M and call them out on their products and vacuum sealing their products. Stay Stay!

My daughter just bought me one. She's really concerned for my wife and I at are tender ages of 42 and 41 😆. Seriously though it was a very thoughtful move. I'll use it. It's actually not as cumbersome as I thought it would be!

Glad I could help! 😊 Just take note that there is an exhaust vent (facing downward) if you are doing clinical work though.

Is it comfortable to use with glasses?

As comfortable as it can be wearing any mask with glasses. The edge lining is made with soft gel like plastic material so prevents fogging yet is comfortable. 😊

I use 6200 version and it's really good with glasses, the nosepad. I'm afraid 7500 version is too big to stay side by side with glasses 😁

@@rizz1088 seems to work with those big glasses of mine but yeah, it gets annoying if you move around too much as it does touch the glasses.

It is made in 3M's China factory so you can't really tell but the silicone seal at the sides seems really flexible and comfortable and that is good enough for me.

They are ALL made in China. Both the genuine ones and the counterfeit ones.

They are selling them here for cheaper than some cloth masks and marketing them for pandemic use with plenty of stock since not many people want to use them. I usually don't because it is so cheap to get 3-ply masks here (prices dropped after they increase supply). Just a few cents a day so makes sense to go with 3-ply masks here now.

These are intended for industrial use, not medical so you aren’t depriving med people. I’m a woodworker and had one already so just been using it during the outbreak.
