Thanks for the helpful video. It looks like it would have looked better if the tach bulb was also replaced, to match the brightness and color of the speedo bulb (or to just replace all the bulbs before another one burns out).
Thanks for your video! On my 2001 4 Runner, the "D" shift indication green light is suddenly not lit up a couple of days ago. Could I also follow your instructions to replace the "D" green light bulb? Is my light bulb the same part # as yours "90010-06034"? Thank you very much!
Huh, so THATS how the dash dimmer switch comes out 🤔🤔 I could never figure it out and just left it attached, made things a real pain in the ass. I was just trying to double check the part number too 😂
Hey man nice vid I changed my dashboard bulbs but I think the plate lights and bulbs for the rpms and speed or connected somehow I found a connector under the dash that was green and white same color cable that runs on plate lights could you please shoot back a response?
I see you have a 2000 Toyota Dash Cluster like mine, I have converted the black sockets to led T5 - PC74 and am trying to determine the led conversion for the part you list.
I don't reccomed it. I swapped in led into my 99 with the 2000 style cluster and ffs I had somehow lost my ect functionality on off despite having good regular bulbs back in everything. No high beam indicator it quit, same story. Hell I even had a shifting issue trying to drive it down the road, do not trust cheap bargain deal led bulbs is my advice. Idk wtf happened but I'm trying to fix my rig back to where it was before I started everything worked, just dull and wanted to update. Goes to show anything can happen trying to do a simple bulb swap / upgrade, hell I may have to replace the cluster completely to get everything working again Idk my problems have just begun. Hopefully I can figure out what happened and its not too complicated or costly. Just a fair warning for everyone. ✌️
They're ok. Unfortunately the beam pattern of most LED's is fairly focused so the dash isn't lit up very evenly. Personally I just like the old 'retro' look of the old OEM bulbs
@@PartimeOverland I gotcha, thank you for your reply. Since I dropped that comment, I ended up getting some multidirectional leds that lit up my cluster mostly evenly and I'm happy with them.
@@713dboi I bought some from east coast toyota restorations. He does all his business on facebook so search for him there if you're interested. I'm happy with the bulbs he provided me. I believe his bulbs are priced at a premium, but for the convenience of getting everything I needed in one place, I thought it was worth it, especially since I heard of so many other happy customers that bought from him.
