Install is helpful with a second pair of hands. I went off tracing the holes and marking where 1 3/4 mark is. I believe 1 or 2 screws were off by a MM so by drilling the plastic a little bigger would solve it. Really wish you guys used "Metric" threads and bolts for a japanese vehicle.
If it doesn't align, you can put the long screw in first and slightly bend it to where you can align it with the spacer. Just leave the brackets on lose and when you tighten it you can slide an open end wrench through that back to tighten to brackets to the molle. I tried making a bigger hole, and it still wouldn't align, so that's when I decided to bend it. I'm still glad how it came out because I positioned the bracket to cover the bigger hole that I made 👍 hope this helps anyone out.
Great video, super helpful, awesome product. But got mine today and it's missing the (17/32 *edit)drill bit that you mentioned was included (at 9:57). Not a big deal except that bit is seemingly the rarest on the planet, special order only at lowes, home depot and true value. Should have checked before taking the truck apart, but kinda sucks that I have to put it all back together while I wait for that bit to come in.
17/32, and we apologize for it not being in your hardware kit. If you contact our customer service team we can get one out to you: www.victory4x4.com/CTUS.html
Sherpa RoofRacks and Prinsu both have accessories for their racks like side handles and pod mounts to name a few accessories , will Victory 4x4 offer these accessories in the near future? I just purchased a rack from you guys and would like to know if you guys thought about offering those as well ?
