Detailed walkaround of my 3rd gen (2000) Toyota 4Runner. Feel free to message me with any questions! Instagram: @partimeoverland Got a lot of requests for the rear hatch lights, so here they are: www.amazon.com...
Sick rig man! To get your welds to stick you gotta grind down the surface of the frame you are welding on. When you expose the raw metal it'll stick like a charm.
Sweet build! I have a 2000 Limited I bought new and will NEVER sell it. I just keep making it better. Best SUV that has ever been. It has never let me down. Basic maintenance will easily get 350k miles plus. I actually change my oil more than should be so maybe I'll get a million miles.
Do you need the spacer to run 285/75/r16 or do you have it on there just cause? I'm trying to go that exact size but not sure if it require spacer or not
hey whats up man1 thanks for the vid! question though. Did you have to do any cutting to get the tires to fit without rubbing? im running the same size tires and wheels and i am rubbing terrible.
No really actually. This is a 3 inch lift with 1.24 wheel spacing. I had to do a very small trim on my front bumper before I got the steel bumper, but very minimal
Super clean rig. It is a Highlander. The sport came out in 2001 when the Toyota Highlander came out. The Highlander edition only came out in 99’ and 00’. I only know this because I have the same one. Can’t wait to see more!!!
Just wanna say hello. Im new to the family. I just purchased a 4gen 2007 4runner. I can't wait to start adding to it. Any suggestions to start with? I wanna get a lift. How much should they cost?
They can get pricey getting up in the $2000 or more but personally I went with rough country it came with new springs and struts and only ran me about $500 but it was one of their more expensive packages
Very good build, you gave me a few options that I may consider on my Gen 3 2000 4Runner. Thanks for this video and yes they I great in at 240k looking to go 600k and more 😊
I really want those fender flares. Are they stock or aftermarket? My 99 SR5 has the ones that are molded into the running board and I hate the way they look.
How hard was it to do the valve cover gasket and timing belt? I need to do both on mine, trying to decide if I can do it myself or if I should take it to someone
Actual sport editions were 02 color matched flares, grille, bumper, new style grille, cloth interior, sport skid, round 5 spokes, and non elocker. You have a sr5 or highlander
Nice rig. I have a 99 limited that I've had for about 10 years. I almost sold it recently. It's developed a dead miss and I didn't want to mess with it. I bought a new car and was going to sell it. I just replaced #5 injector and it's ready for another 100k. Im just stating to do some work on it. I'll probably use a lot of your ideas. Thanks for the video. Got a sub from me.
Thanks brother! Glad to see the channel help you out. These 3rd gens are simply the best. I'll keep posting more videos as the rig develops more. Have fun building out your rig;)
