i feel like super poly seems like a no brainer at first because we already play super poly targets regardless of playing super poly and then its like well why not add this completely broken card that is usually balanced by people not having the extra deck space for. however you are totally right that more often than not you wont even be able to activate it or have really awkward situations where you have a discard for it but you really dont want to discard that card.
Will you be doing a Combo video on Tearlaments? I stopped playing Tears after it was nuked in the Banlist. I decided to come back to it because I can't decide on a Fusion Deck to play. So stumbling across this video is pretty much a sign from the Yugioh Gods that I should play Tears again. But because it's been so long, I have no idea what the combos are anymore. Especially without Kitkallos
Reinoheart + revolution synchron make ancient fairy dragon, do afd shenanigans, bring back revo then you can make the new visas synchro and search the same targets as trivikarma, and you can use the synch for material for baronne with merrli or link mat for something link i:p
This is a nice list. I kinda don’t agree with adding in a 2nd winda because you can shuffle it back if you didn’t use you shufflers but I see your point on running a 2nd

I usually like to play tear with a higher kash pack and more hand traps, with the dracossack Cherubini Sprind combo. I find it more consistent although I like your list. What would you change? Maybe superpolys + 1 other card for the rescue ace package or hand traps?
The problem with hand traps is that they’re awful mills and tear usually needs 2-card combinations to play, so the HTs increase odds of bricking. Tear is also great at breaking boards, so you don’t desperately need hand traps. Kashtira cards are fine, but beyond fenrir they don’t tend to do tear plays on their own, which is a problem cuz the sprind/dracossack line gets stopped by 1 hand trap (ANY hand trap for that matter). Rev synchron might change my opinion here. Yeah, cut super poly for any other non-engine. If it’s a hand trap, it has to be rescue ace, cuz all the other hand traps are far too weak on their own.

Hi, could you please explain how time thief makes a fusion? I love the video btw great list really similar to mine except i have 2 diviner and 3 fenrir. If diviner goes off you make a free baronne which baronne, plus grapha rulk and winda with like sul is game over for most decks except maybe branded and kash could play thru that
At 4:49 you were saying that you felt the R-Ace package was underwhelming because of the lack of Stratos-like effects in the format. Does it come up often that your opponent will activate a monster effect on field (therefore summoning Fire Attacker) then not search at all for the rest of the turn? I feel like even if the effect is delayed a little it would still get value at some point, or end their turn prematurely. I'm sure you tested it more than I have, but I'd like your thoughts on this.
It just doesn't feel great to give them options. By delaying it, they could pop it before searching, dark ruler it, TTT it, etc... There's also decks that straight up will never resolve a search. Lab will not search without opening Arianne. Evil Twin Spright might sometimes not search until gigantic has been activated. Branded doesn't always need to resolve a search before a mirrorjade can banish the rescue... etc etc... The true impact is when you can generate an entire field with winda/and or rul/and or grapha on their first action. If you give them time to play around things, it becomes worse.
@@solemnyugiohdo you know if they normal stratos, for example, you chain impulse, impulse resolves then stratos resolves, adding a card to their hand; is the ruling that you can activate fire attack right after everything resolves and starts a new chain, since fire attacker was on the field as stratos resolves to add? Sorry for the stupid question, quite new to yugioh.
I being playing a really similar list to your previous video with the rescue ace package. Ngl thats enough to not die to kash I'm not beating them reliably but I'm getting draws reliably lol just need to know where to interrumpt him and play the game of not letting the arise heart get in the board (that said I play cryme instead of metanoise)
In master duel, it's the best deck and best engine, so naturally it's gonna come up all the time. In the tcg, it's my favorite deck and just so happened to be the one I used for this event. When I won my regional 2 months ago, it was with kash and thus the video was about kash. Perhaps I use another deck for a future event and then I'll cover that as well :) What decks would you like to see?

Now, I don't play TCG but going by wat I see all f the TCG channels and most importantly, seeing what tear still does in MD, if Kash didn't exist then tear would probably have continued being best deck uniterrupted till now. The tear engine is busted as long as it's playable, because "playable" means it snowballs into absurdity.
Not sure. If tear gets targeted by a lot of bystials in its current state, it’s probably not best deck. I think if kash didnt exist, branded bystial and dragon link bystial would be best decks.
