To be fair, it would make sense for the Germans to speak German while the Russians don’t speak Russian when you think about it. The Germans are the enemy, foreigners, to you, the player, and by extension to Dmitri. Why would he understand them unless he himself knew German? But in a more meta sense the Russians speak “English” because they’re on the side of the player, and as such need to be understood, unlike the Germans. If they were able I’m sure that in the localizations for the game they speak whatever native language the region speaks. But since English is now the lingua Franca of the world it naturally appears more often in mainstream media. Anyways, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
@@Waddedupnapkin I understand that but it's weird when you speak Russian, same with movies, non important characters speak perfect Russian and main characters who are supposed to be Russian are American actors trying to speak Russian
