3rd Time's a Slimed Charm! - Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway (Review) | BlueKnight V2.0 

Update: On November 2nd, the game received an update for PS & Xbox players, addressing the following: - General bug fixes and performance updates - Improved online matchmaking - added Spanish LATAM Language support for SCEA builds Switch systems will receive the patch separately later this month! I've been playing the update for a few hours on PS4, and some of the things I mentioned in the video. Like falling through a map randomly, have been fixed! Others like, Jenny's glitched eyes when customizing vehicles, and getting knocked in weird directions. Have not been addressed yet, but hopefully they will be soon.

I heard about the framerate issues, online mode complications, the greediness in unlocking characters through the garage, and unclear unlock methods for some characters. Hopefully the upcoming update regarding framerate issues or a later update can address all the other problems going on. Other than those, the game is indeed a fantastic game. It is an immense improvement on the previous games, a good somewhat improvement from the roster of All-Star Brawl (since they were not really meme-picking characters in this game unlike in that game), and a really unique kart racer. Fixing the issues will make it even better. This is a great review. Thank you.

This game is pretty good! Definitely feels like a return to form for the Nicktoon crossover games. Other than the glitches, online and stinginess with in-game currency, the only big problem I have with the game is that, outside Loud House and the SpongeBob spinoffs, none of the newer Nicktoons got represented or featured in this game. I'd love to play as the characters from Harvey Beaks, It's Pony, Glitch Techs and Middlemost Post and I could easily see locales and characters from those making good tracks and pit crew members.

I'm likely gonna buy this game very soon for the Switch. I originally said yes then no, but since the developers are addressing some of the games issues, I will for sure buy it very soon. The game looks great so far & I'm thrilled that there is voice acting (finally). I really hope there will eventually be a good amount of DLC. I never played the first game (It looked really bad), but had Kart Racers 2 on Xbox & really enjoyed that game almost as much as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the only flaw was no voice acting.

Pros - Good music - large roster - better controls - good graphics - fun character animations - fun cutscenes - voice acting - Jimmy and Jenny - DLC Cons - Bad unlocking method - Not great character choices - Bad frame rate - No cross play - some character models - MANY glitches - cut Tommy and Angelica - Not worth $50-$60 I give the game a 9/10 since most of these issues can be fixed, it’s better than NKR2 but in some areas it’s worse.

I unlocked Helga through online by winning like 14 races. This game is definitely the best out of the trilogy. I just hate that Angelica got demoted to just being a crew member when she was in the first two. I feel like her & Tommy should've been in reptar & Purple Reptar slots. I don't get why Nickelodeon is obsessed with Reptar when he's just a fictional character that the babies watch on tv. Having him in All-Star Brawl is one thing, but he doesn't really need to be in all the kart racers imo. It kinda sucks for me since this one is the best and she's not even in it lol. If the game gets dlc I want the devs to just take her out of the pitcrew and just include her as a dlc racer if that's possible. I think that'll only happen if the community constantly complains to the devs about her I guess lol. As for other dlc characters I want El Tigre, Frida, Timmy, Vicky, Eliza, Debbie, Kitty, Courtney, Miranda, Rudy, Bessie, Portia, Twister, Reggie, Mr. Blik, Tak, Tuesday, Otis, Bessy, Abby, and Norbert. The only wasted slots in the game to me are both Reptars, Eastman and Laird Raphael, Squidina, Kamp Spongebob, Kamp Patrick, Clyde, and Jojo Siwa.

I strongly disagree with CTR being better in how it handled coins. This game doesn't force you into spending Microtransactions coin packs. CTR does. The in game shop also closely resembled the fortnite shop with the timer on items completely exploiting the FOMO in us all. CTR was much worse. End of story. Activision handled CTR far worse than the devs of this game did.

Fun Fact: On the Zim and Danny Phantom courses, if you listen real close, they snuck the shows theme songs into the track ost 👌

I enjoy the game as it is. But its like what others said, between frame rates, bad unlock methods, and online. Too bad their still wasnt a mention of crossplay. Fun enough, Jenny given more presentation than Jimmy in the game and ending up having to unlock her instead of Jimmy or whoever, still throws me off. Hope the fourth sequel offers aircrafts to the game and crossover opportunities

They added Kamp Koral representation? That is lame. There pulling a Baby Mario thing. An excuse to add more Spongbob characters that aren’t even that much different from the main ones. That is the worst kind of rep wastes. And it’s not even as huge as regular Spongbob.

I should better playing nicktoons kart racing 3 in offline mode only. It's very better than multiplayer online experience
