I’ve listened to both Rose’s and hers, I have nothing against Rose’s version, I like it a lot, but to give my own personal opinion Rose’s version shows a young girl breaking up with her significant other while this version shows a woman who has broken up with her significant other. She has more experience with relationships, but the pain from a break up always feels the same at the end: heartbreak and pain. You can very much hear it in their voices the “first love” and “this isn’t my first breakup, but the pain remains”. Enjoy your favorite versions and don’t argue. To each it’s own. These are the same exact songs, sung by different singers showing their emotions.

i've heard 3 version of singer that sing this song, and they surely bring different kind of emotion when they sing it. for original version it seems like a helpless love that cannot meet it ends, and for seccond version (on my list) feels like a love that hurt you soo much and make you dying little by little, soo much emotion flow and break your heart over and over again. and for this version i feel soo much love that overflowes and dont know how to stop it, it feels beautiful yet sad...
