It does pretty well in the snow, but for better skids you need the torsen rear diff. I have it in my 1995 3sfe rav and i can pull skids on almost every loose surface with half throttle and without ever touching the handbrake.
I’m doing the swap right now and I was wondering what axles did you use and did you have to modify the driveshaft any. Thank you if you could can you send me a link where I can get them.
I stuck with the factory transaxle so no modifications or changes to driveshaft or cv axles. Check out the full build summary video over on lab coat Paul’s channel for more detail! Thanks for watching
Gotta groom it a bit more in the dirt for next season. The lot behind us is available, 4acres, can have horses. Just move up, Let’s make a bigger track
So far I haven’t noticed an issue with it, don’t think in situations where I have it locked it’s seeing enough continuous boost to unlock. I was expecting to have to run a vacuum tank or a separate pump but so far it’s been good.
Can’t have windows fogging up midway through winter lemans haha. It kinda is, once I got stuck I tried to unstuck it with the sequoia and it instantly got stuck.
