I've got the black stonewashed jacket. Absolutely love it. ...and lol, the moment you started regretting not having pockets in that PBJ jacket you should have sold it and got or waited to get what you want. You'll never be satisfied.
Gotta have those handwarmers. Just feels awkward not being able to put your hands in any pockets plus all the things we carry it's good to have internal ones too. Had an ironheart jacket without pockets, loved the jacket but hated that it had no pockets. Classic piece you got.
Agree with you there Luis, although my PBJ type II hasn't go warmers. I've learnt to adapt with it haha, i use it more just for a casual look when i don't need warmers. Unlined so i wouldn't wear it when i need to put my hands in there, but i totally agree with you!
@@alexdefaro I think what he's trying to say, rather undelicately, is that there is a lot more out there if you're looking to explore. But I get your point, I feel more comfortable taking my $80 selvage Levi's jacket to hang out in dive bars or on camping trips than I would a $300 jacket from elsewhere. If you're gonna put that kind of money into it, you gotta really be into the scene, but it's worth it if that's what you're into (or you have the kind of money to blow lol).
@@philipbeadle6446I'm into the scene and have more japanese selvedge denim that I would wear in two life times... And I would have no issues spending $300+ in a RGT Cryptic Denim Supply Jacket... What I was saying is that in the case of the Type 3 Denim Jacket (specifically in that particular case) I believe that these "replicas" of the Levi's original does not have anything that would justify the price difference. Once again just what I feel.
Nice pick up mate 👍🏼 I jagged a RgT river wash a while back to serve the same purpose as your 3sixteen (the crosscut back looks awesome btw!)... I had the same problem with the button eyelets being super tight on the river wash... I used the handle of a cutlery knife and kinda yanked it around the inside of the eyelet to loosen it up some... worked pretty well to open it up that little bit 🤙🏼
@@CameronO I love it mate... I bought mine for the same reason you grabbed the 3sixteen... I did find the cut of the river wash to be a tad bit boxy, for which I had it tailored... fits me like a glove now and is one of my most worn pieces! 🤙🏼

By the way, with my black jacket, I hadn't liked that my sleeves were slightly short so I pulled at them for a while, while wearing it and after taking it off, and it expanded to where I needed it to be. Yes. The buttons do suck on the 3sixteen jacket. I've looked up youtube videos on how to replace buttons on denim jackets. Seems pretty do-able. Might be worth it if you know that jacket isn't something you are going to replace with some new jacket you find on instagram the next day. damn instagram. keeps me hooked. might have to erase my account and get away from all those temptations.
Idk why but I’m just not crazy for the type 3, type 2 always looks better imo but it’s hard to find one that is raw selvedge and also has hand warmer pockets and is also on my size...
I bought XL in grey stonewashed. It does pull on the back when hugging myself. Unfortunately I cannot return it. Also it’s limited and out of stock. So my questions is does it loosing up with wear over time?
