I just love how after she hears Damon whisper her name, she completely gives in to her feelings and kisses him. You usually see her guarded with her actions and feelings towards Damon, but in this moment, she brought down her walls and acted completely on all the passion and love she had held in.

I miss vampire diaries when it was like this. I feel like the show slowly deteriorated as time went on. I liked the show up until about the fourth season before I sadly lost interest.
Me too the story just got so weird boring and all mixed up so mch skipped n thn nina leaving the show ending sucked as they literally jumped to the scenes where they felt obliged tht the ending should be peaceful ruining everything cut short scenes were there so many things could hv been bttr like Stefan NVR lived a proper love life from Katherine to Elena thn Caroline even Damon Elena scenes were less compared to Stefan Elena's bonnie also didn't find one destined prsn to live with sm with Caroline Alaric wife died agn ughhhhh lot of issues 🤷🏻♀️😌

It almost makes me cry. Damon knew how to handle Elena, help her in her darkest times, make her feel alive. I love Stefan, and when she was innocent ole Elena, yeah it worked but she needed Damon. I LOVE DELENA. SO MUCH. Even Stefan eventually sees it, and sees Elena gave him his brother back which he needed, she also helped Damon realize he needed Stefan too. I honestly don't know how Ian and Nina didn't stay together in real life. They were so perfect together. You could see the chemistry and passion even off screen. It's sad that they aren't together. Elena and Damon will forever be my favorites!❤

With Stefan, Elena experienced the cute, "teenage dream" love. I think they're cute couple. What she has with Damon is the adult, stormy, powerful, mindblowing love... Just... it takes your breath away. I'm convinced this is what we call true love. I always get excited at the scenes between Damon and Elena.

I've commented about this before, but a song to consider for this scene is the one they chose for the armory at the end of 7x21. Odds of Even by Marilyn Manson. It's the reason Elena becomes a vampire. "This is the house of death. Even angels die in the arms of demons." She's dying as she kisses him.

@@Tokerz0 Actually, no, not each season was covering a one year period. Remember that there were 2 Miss Mystic Fall Pageant episodes, 1×19 and 4×07. So, the time period between those episodes was only 1 year.

I LOVE how the lights flicker in the backround! it makes the scene so much more romantic and and the music was perfect!! look at how she ran to him! she was sooo eager to kiss him! and if she felt even an ounce of guilt (which she shouldn't ) she had plenty of opportunities to stop him. she was moaning and trembling and pulling him closer! yeah Elena keep denying your feelings cuz we all believe you- not! keep kissing her like that Damon she'll be begging to choose you! lol
Why damon is the best for elena is because damon was always himself. He never tried to be anybody else and never hides what he thinks. Some lines may be a bitch to some people but who cares! Damon is real. Down to earth. I love him!
