Genshin 4.0 actually surpasses my expectations. The tease they gave us about fontaine only show a small fraction of Fontaine underwater exploration. And now we know that Underwater exploration cover 50% of Fontaine exploration, we knew it gonna be a blast. And why the heck I am so weirdly excited for the new Party background? XD
Right! I expected even Columbina more than Mr. Worldwide himself. Columbina just makes more sense to appear here, as she is “oblivious and innocent at any given time”, thus she can’t be judged by that device.
Did anybody else notice it? How the archons exude their element's auras in the party line-up screen? ^^ Nahida and Zhongli weren't seen but hopefully they do that, it's such an awesome touch
the way they deliberately made the first underwater areas colorful and bright and (relatively) peaceful so the players would feel comfortable in our ~very first~ diving experience....... why do i get the feeling that two versions from now theyre gonna send us into the watery hell depths of the fantasy mariana trench?
@@LongDeadArtist himiko is from an entirely different game with a different writing team and tingyuns fate is unknown for now. in genshin no playable character has died despite many opportunities to do so. they've done this type of tease multiple times now with genshin, for example kazuha in inazuma.

i love how dish is excited for all these. it's a bit rare to see content creators still getting hyped for genshin and it makes me happy to see someone else share the same happiness i have for genshin's upcoming updates
New bosses, new enemies, new battle pass weapons, new exploration mechanics, new story quest, new main archon quest, new environment, new characters, new music, new open world puzzles, new events, new domains, and most of all one new step closer to the mystery of Tyvets endgame and next adventure being unveiled.
Well, we're already approaching 4.1 version but here I am still just as excited as when I first watched this 4.0 special program. Genshin Impact just gives me feels. Good and bad ones. The music, the story/lore, the characters, just everything. I'm excited for the anniversary stuff (ITTY BITTY OCTOBABY) and future updates.

So glad the new characters don’t intrigue me that much and I’m not that much of a character collector cause I have NOTHING right now lol, I recently pulled Wanderer and I’ve spent everything I had on him. So I’ll have the chance to save up for future characters

I want playable Childe can change his vision to electro. If they can't, at least do it like how traveler change his element on Statue of seven Hydro archon statue now exist y'know, Childe should have been able to change his two main elements
For me, the story NEEDS to be really damn good coz real talk, not a fan of these character designs. They're aight, but they're no Alhaitham and Dehya that immediately capture you. Those two are S tier character designs, but even then Cyno and Nilou are also top tier levels of amazing design.
we need to make clear as a community we need more resin that is what we REALLY want, but they just ignore it and at a certain point we need all to tell them
@@kabuto-- it would be hard to balance considering the reason for resin capping is to avoid players from binge-farming (especially for cn players) but i do understand the want for more resin with a new region coming. I'd say they should increase the resin cap to 200 for AR 45+ players or add more ways to get fragiles

Honestly i just wish this arc can shed some light on what is happening in celestia and wtf us celestia, dain said focalors will not make an enemy of the divine and she's the only one who thinks that way so far as the 4 past archons. So i really wanna see celestia be somewhat involved in the story.

I'm so glad they considered the players' comfort underwater because as someone with thalassophobia, I was definitely uncertain about how the whole system will play out but so far it just seems fun to swim around! I'm also excited about the whole raining in the city and I hope it's not just a story thing because I've been wanting city rains since launch 😅

im not gonna lie i might be one of 10 ppl that are excited to see new teapot and i kinda want it underwater yk or at least some parts of it- i was kinda sadge after sumeru one cuz i expected more nature i guess? but still anything better than inazuma one (its pretty af BUT no grass there makes me wanna die fr)
Everything seems so awesome and let's just say I'm quite FONT of what i saw for Fontaine. My only concern is the underwater combat part, feels like it's going to be monotonous in the long run, hopefully there's more. Also I'm surprised they didn't showcase the update on strongbox and artifacts optimization.
I can't wait for so many things. But something that people seem to be skipping over is WHAT WILL HYDRO TRAVELLER BE LIKE? Are they worth playing? So many questions. I can't wait to answer them all. :)
as much as i love sumeru, exploring the desert has been kind of a big pain for me and i ended up getting a genshin burn out and had to take a few months of break, so im SO SO SO happy that Fontaine is coming out! cant wait to try out whats new! AND FINALLYYYYYY AAAAAAA ANOTHER ARCHON QUEST, I'VE BEEN WAITING.
I think that they have done very good job at capturing the beauty of water but I would also love to see a bit of terror bc ngl the oceans and seas are absolutely terrifying, like we’ve only explored 5% of them, and I would find it really cool if there was some sort of really scary and spooky place like further down bc we know that genshin can get spooky and dark if it wants. Even cooler if there was some sort of monster (like apep size) down there, even just in the distance swimming around or a faint shadow moving on the edge of the map. I know that it probably won’t happen but I can’t help but dream bc I am absolutely terrified but also intrigued by the ocean
