good morning i like your video i have a bearfoot 3 3 tuber that I would like to get fix i would like to know would you work on it for me i live in Davenport Iowa
Very nice looking amps. Thanks for sharing Smiley. I sure would love to learn how to build a 8877 or 4-1000. To bad know one sells plans with photos and list of parts to build either a 8877 or 4-1000.I would buy them for sure. I have a Henry 2KD5. That I would like to convert to a 8877 if I could fine plans to do so.
4-1000 is hard to drive in gg configuration,,,it is tetrode.....8877/3CX1500A7 is expensive tube, new cost around 1400 bucks....buy couple GS35B,Russian analog to 8877,but much robust design for military use...you can find them for about 100 to 150 new,for one 8877 new you can buy 10 of those for same output power....
DAMN.... THAT'S SOME CLEAN WORK YOUR DOING. CAN'T BEAT A VACUUM TUBE, WETHER IS A.F. OR R.F. What does a hammer dropper like that run for, of you don't mind mind me asking?. kind regards! Eric Dee.
The F.C.C. is not one bit interested in what these fools do, They are helpless to control a lawless nation. There are laws to control activity like this but with out the money to work with nothing is done. These amps and a vertical antenna on the roof are a dangerous combination but they do not know nor do they care.
@@1903A3shooter Most of these guys are electronic engineers and are smarter then most hams, these dudes know what they doing and do it very well.(otherwise they wouldn't do this to begin with) And NO,they don't use a cheap vertical antenna either, most of these guys run a beam that's about 75 feet long designed on a 💻 program called mininec.
Far out. This guy must be a C.B. operator with ZERO RF KNOWLEDGE. Not only dangerous, but those tubes are going to melt. No freeking idea how to cool them ! I wouldn't let this guy replace a couple of AA battery in my smoke alarm much less build an amplifier !
