This is one our favorite 4-3-3 attacking patterns. Our attacking center mids are instructed to frequently look for each other to help switch the point of attack, especially when we play against teams using two central midfielders. This can then usually result in a through ball to a winger. We're still working on spacing, angles, and details, but the foundation is forming.
Pattern of play: The 8 or 10 receives across their body and then plays across to the 10 or 8. She then looks to play a penetrating pass through to a winger if available. The 6 or 9 can also be used to help find the free midfielder. Variations may occur.
