Hey the Kid, what's your opnions on Mongol's Keshik? Is it cost efficient enough to just straight out spam them?

My biggest issue with Mongols, and i played almost exclusively mongols, if you are not effective with oppression or you cant deal good damage, you cant hold that pressure long against civs like, HRE or French. But i am a gold player and level 200, so dont take mee too serious :D

how would you go about countering this? im new to the game and a lot of people in other guides just casually say "punish feudal tower rush" but i dont know how to do that when my opponent's tc can move away from my towers and his early keshigs and archers outtrade any army (primarily spearmen) i send when within the range of an outpost. How do i find the funds to destroy outposts around my base when he has a faster army? what units am i meant to be building my econ and army to get rid of them?

@@Valdemar1902 Thank you for your reply, I wasn't expecting it! My question was a bit all over the place, I was mainly wondering how to counter feudal rushes from Mongols such as the one shown in the video. This extends to how to counter early game rushes in general, and how to stop outposts around my base from being so oppressive - most of my attempts to destroy these outposts lead to my army being unable to beat my enemy's army + his outposts around my own starting position! Even battering rams rams from the blacksmith upgrade seem so expensive and die too quick to get rid of these early outpost rushes!

Can you plz make a guide on how to counter abbasid from different civs specially rus Abbasid is my biggest problem this civ is like hell for me. The main thing is when against abbasid we get only a small passage of time in which we have to attack abbasid else we are dead If we take too long to mass army then the opponent quickly goes 2tc and matches the army as they have high resources if we don't attack then eventually we lose due to better eco of Abba Means in every situation we lose just there is 1 small opening in which we can turn tables so if you make a guide to let us know how to utilise that small opening property then it would be very kind of you

love the guide and build order. just got one questio valdemor. why is stable not producing 2 units? even the tech tree says it will if the stable is in the influence of ovoo but im still just getting one unit

It’s a separate menu in the barracks or stable etc

There’s a small window to the right when you open a production building that says 2x. Click on that. But it only works if you have stone resources available.

Thanks for the vid! How do you handle defense as a mongol? Ex the opponent is super agressive (french) and raids constantly. The fact that mongol has nothing other than towers or army to defend itself is a challenge

Don't think of the civ in terms of naturally falling into defense, instead, the constant aggression that you apply will act as your defence. By constantly applying pressure, the attention of your opponent will be centered away from your economy.

@@underdarkgaming8563Harass them early on stone so they can't afford the 2 tc and keep pressuring them early, they're really easy to beat as mongols. You need a dark age rush strategy though

@@drainbramage3555 yes bro my friend easily defeat abba as he is mongol main but I am mali I get delayed feudal and my 2nd best is rus which needs stable to be built and then produce a knight till then opponent already make tc on gold so I cannot harass With mali I can just delay but a minute at Max by warrior scout

If your enemy is going knights archer, you want to go Keshik spearman I think.

I'm having fun in gold with essentially this build. As long as you get your first 2 keshiks out on time (so make sure to learn to execute the build properly), a lot of people in gold struggle to defend. It difficult in that it's APM intensive to micro your keshiks (you want them to be constantly active threatening their economy) while keeping up your build behind, but it's worse for your opponent that has to react quickly with their vills while trying to adapt their build to your harass. glhf

Always try to get map control and possibly win before pastures are required by going on hunts and boars. Pastures can be slowly added later around min 15 :)

@@Valdemar1902 thank you for the guide man. I copied almost entirely. The only major difference I do is I go stable in dark age, deer stones, range, normal market, then at the end of feudal I drop my black smith. The second feudal starts, I start pushing Keshik and Mangudai (I feel the Mangudai harass with Keshik in Feudal is devastating). I keep almost everyone on food and gold till the market booms around castle then I move most of my people on gold to wood for seige and more stables and ranges
