I love SWF1 wayyyy better. Tension was quite enough, not much or less. Dancing was the focus. But in SWF2, in the first episodes, everybody had beef with everybody. Like "oo, she was her former student" "ooo they were close friends". Like b*tch, how do all of you have beef with each other I skipped all those parts it got soo boring and it was so long to watch. I just wanted to watch dancing. And some scripted edgy words for each other before dancing. So stupid. In SWF2 they focused more on gossip side. Dude i wanna see some dancing, you can be mad at each other and show it with dance! And dont get me started on missions. Point system was so complicated, in SWF1 it was simple, understandable. The quality changed a lot. If it wasn't for Bada vs Kirsten (smoke challenge) battle and the Smoke MV Bada being the main dancer in the show it wouldn't leave any good impact on me. Those two were the best things in the show
after watchinh swf2 i realized the battles were in swf1 & smf were more entertaining & amazing to watch.. in swf2 it was actually kinda boring to watch the 1 on 1 battles and the judges were kinda lame like no reaction no response nothing
i think the fact that the format was fresh for season 1 vs season 2 and smf where all the dancers have already watched the first season plays a big part
