listening to him complain how it took him 2 hours to complete the abyss with 4 stars. meanwhile, i'm out here with my skill issue, 3 years in with some decent 5 stars, still unable to 36 star the abyss. 🙃

10:10 I think there was an abyss 12 where they summon 4 waves of ruin enemies. 2 waves of ruin guards, and them the ruin sentinels.

I’m kinda sick of abyss where one half isn’t consistent so swapping teams after different floors is almost necessary it’s really annoying

Yoo if you ever get stuck in Mirror Maiden cage and using polearm character, Polearm CA (charge attack) will phase you through it. Good luck you all and great video

I think I'll do the inverse of what you did: I'll do overload on 1st half, and burgeon on 2nd. Overload will kill Triple Kenki and Coppelius very fast while ALSO not kicking them around. Burgeon has dendro, pyro and hydro for all the shield breakig needs of 2nd side, while having aoe that DOESNT kick enemies around.

First time using Father in abyss. She cuts through the enemies' hp like butter. I knew she was good but she was REALLY good in abyss.

Thanks for the guide, i wasnt sure what teams to run at first and was gonna try Arle overload first half because the 12-3-2 shields scared me but you showing it can work anyway was really helpful. Ended up going with Navia, Albedo, Furina and Kokomi for first half and Arle, Fischl, Chevvy (c0 because PAIN) and Beidou for 2nd. Another 36 star abyss letsgo

Cleared abyss 12: F1 - C1 Neuv, C1 Furina, C0 Kazu, C1 Baizhu/ F2 - C0 Raiden international Possible also with Raiden - Chevy overload or Raiden international for F1/ Hypbloom F2 with dendro driver

Used a Raiden, Furina, Xiangling and Bennet team for the first half (Raiden C0, Furina C1), and an hyperbloom with Nahida (C0), Xingqiu, Fischl and Kuki on the second half. The first team is really fast and leave enough time to take care of the double electro shield on the 12-2-2. Plus, double electro is pretty fast against the cryo shield of the baptist. 12-2-2 is pain in the ass... it was so random for me when it comes to group heralds, but somehow after x try I did it properly. My second mistake was trying to run double pyro instead of my strongest team in 12-1. Also I still didn't built Xiangling properly so there is that too...

Great teams recommendations from IWTL! I'd actly suggest to swap the team sides as to what he used. So probably use the burgeon team on 2nd half, or even a hyperbloom team there should work

Please do this for HSR MOC or other endgame modes too, your tips is really helpful.

For a 4-star only clear I used overload side1, national side2. Overload was Fischl-Beidou-Thoma-C3 Chevy. The operatives are horrible without a grouper, so to maintain sanity you pretty much want to build some Sucrose-based team for side2. Then lectors mandate pyro/cryo. Then Baptist too. So national is kinda natural.

I wish they would add some fun new endgame modes instead of just coming up with the most annoying floors for abyss. I’ve been clearing Swarm V lately in HSR and having some fun doing it. Genshin feels archaic now.

13:28 it took me a second to realise what happened here. The burst wasn't meant for the Cryo FATui dudes, it was for wave 2. Arlecchino's C2 blast dealt with those 2 by itself

For the first half, i used hyperbloom comp, i just equip the the sword we got from that one fontaine quest for kuki, one normal attk to disable the robot couple’s shield easily

In case anyone forgets that Zhongli's burst exists like I usually do, it + his hold skill can get rid of most of Coppelius's shield quite easily without having to waste much skill/burst uptime on any other character.

I've beat it with navia furina team for top half, and ayato national on 2nd half, took me around 20minutes for each floor to get it, the hardest part is my 1st half is not aoe dmg and dont have grouping character, against that many waves of enemy its kinda hard, but if you manage to group them even tho only for couple of second it'll help a lot, for 2nd half just oonga boonga xiangling

for everyone sseing this, if you dont want to run pyro on top just change the sword from the quest to ousia and give to to: Jean, Kazuha, Traveller or any other sword wielder you can fit on the top team, 1 hit from the sword and the shield instantly tops even with it being level 1.

By the time I picked up the controller I dropped this man already finished the first half speedrun

first half - yao yao , furina , xinqui , kuki second half - neuvi , bennet , nahida , kazuha ( the first half team performed very well i felt it was the best hyperbloom team i have used and furina will break the cryo shield of the copllieus in an instant , the second half was pretty good too but had to dodge few shots )

I'm glad i pulled for neuvillette instead of saving for arlecchino 😊

I used Cyno Furina Nahida Baizhu on the first half, and the only thing I had to care about was using Furina's normal attack to break the Coppelius shields. Luckily the timings coppelius puts up the shield just line up with Cyno's downtime so you can do it at the end of cycling through supports! For 2nd half I used Ayato soup team with Kazuha Fischl and Bennett. Nothing much to say about this one, just make sure you use kazuha's burst inside of Bennett's burst for pyro infusion and everything should get deleted with otherwise normal gameplay!

This abyss finally made me use my premium ayaka team for those electro heralds, but after seeing her in action against other regular mobs in the abyss il think about actually using it more

Arlecchino made quick work of this abyss. Arle c0 r1 pjws 4 glad na tl 9, benny c6 r1 mistsplitter 4 noblesse, kazuha c0 r1 fs 4 vv (952 em), zl c0 4 totm. This was with the na & ca dmg +15% (or was it +20%, idk) abyss card. Arle cleared 12-1-1 in 23 seconds. 12-2-1 & 12-3-1 both in under 50 seconds. I'm blown

I still has that thundering fury bennet build since way back then, finally going to use it again 🤣

It took me 2 runs. I used neuvi, kazuha, furina and bennett on the first half to deal with the cryo shield of coppelius. For the second half I first took bennett, nahida, yelan, xiangling for the baptist. After that, since I didn't get full stars on the 12-2, I went with alhaitham, nahida, yelan, kuki for more dmg to 36 star it.

I was wondering if you ever thought of make this kinda video but for starrails either moc or pure fiction (or the new permanent game mode coming out later). If you were to only do one because of time constraints I would prefer pure fiction because they seem to be increasing In difficulty faster than moc.

Funny thing is that whenever I see the abyss lector boss (boss you need for baizhu and kirara), my mind is already set on one specific team to deal with it. Burgeon team. Worst thing though is that in the past, the one to blow those green nuts away was FULL EM JEAN. (Don't have kazu boi back then)

Thank you Thundering Fury Bennett helped my XQ Bennett Kazuha XL team do 12-2 second half in 2 minutes. Definitely harder than before.

I remember the abyss where we get 4 ruin machines in 12-1-1 before which spawn in 4 separate waves. Forgot what version was it.

It is a nightmare!I can clear the abyss no problem but I couldn't ever full star it. I allways fall short a couple seconds...

Rumor has it that 4.7 abyss required damage breaks records and by a lot, so even more pain incoming....

The teams that worked for me were the Neuvi-Furina in the First half, and Alhaitham Hyperbloom in the second half. If necessary Kazuha Furinational might also work for the first and third Chamber I think🤔

Surprisingly, burning was a very strong reaction in this Abyss.

You could use the narcinsiseue ( or whatever it's called) sword for copelius to get rid of his shield

I’m trying to decide if I want to build Lynette or level that nersizzenkruis sword to help deal with these Fontaine enemies. I got my very first 36 stars just a few days ago on the last abyss but this one seems 10x harder. I can clear it but we’ve only got 5 stars on floor 12 thus far

I used 1: Zhongli, Arlecchino, Raiden Shogun, Kuki 2: Xiangling, Xingqui, Yelan, YaoYao. I only got 3 stars, but with my potato, I was happy to get them. I actually found grouping the preacher dudes to not be advantageous since they sapped my bursts too easily that way. I would just get them close enough that I wasn't running all over the place, but not right on top of each other

I used Raiden/Xiangling/Bennet/Chevreuse first half and Kuki/Furina/Nahida/Xinqui Second half. Those Kenkis one shot my Raiden my first try ngl😭😭 but some tips I have are, try to get the kenki's to second phase at the same time so you can dodge them all easily, preferably at the end of your rotation too. And if you can bring an Ousia character for first half to easily break Copellius' shield, for me it was Chevreuse but Furina and even Lynnette works. I think burgeon would probably do better than Hyperbloom in the second half but I don't have any burgeon characters built so... Good luck to all of you trying this abyss!

Having no Chevreuse really sucks for this abyss. Keqing and Fischl aggravate breezed through 12-1-1 and 12-2-1, even including Coppelia's Cryo shield, but the second half Hyperbloom wasn't cutting it for the Electro lectors and the Baptist's cryo shield.

I just used raiden national on the first half and comfychinno on the second half and I was able to decimate floor 12 for the first time without resetting every chamber.

I just finished the abyss right now while I am in my 15 minute break in my work and this is what I will say, fck 12-3 first chamber where there are 4 waves of enemies. They purposely did that floor to stall you for the 2nd chamber like wtf. Good thing my Neuvillette is strong enough to kill that boss.

I preffered the previous Abyss. Mainly because I'm not planning on getting a 5 star Pyro DPS until the Pyro Archon comes out. It feels like Hoyo is locking Primogems behind "you must pull 5 star Pyro right now" so that you don't have enough Primogems when the Pyro Archon does wome out. And no, 4 star Pyro units don't count because they need too much investments and constellations to do the same job the 5 star equivalents do.

This was the first abyss I actually had to beat 2 times, one to get 35 stars and a second one purely focused on 12-2 because of Coppelius

It was quite hard for me, i cant imagine running 4 star only. But pyro absolutely dominates this abyss cycle. I ran hutao plunge first half magu kenki melted, 2nd half was arlechinno national was finally enough for those electo shields with triple pyro

I died only once to Magu Kenki, other floors on one try. Used Childe and Neuvi teams

Chamber 1 and 3 are a breeze. It's the chamber 2 that required me to change teams 😂😂. I got 3 stars in Chamber 2 using Raiden National in First Half, and Baizhu, Nahida, Yae Miko, Alhaitham in Second Half 😂 .

This..... was a really difficult abyss 12. I like it. Unfortunately, I know a lot of friends who are gonna rage. They already struggled getting 33+ stars the previous abyss hahaha

Made a mistake putting Neuvelette+Furina on floor 12s 2nd team lol. Couldnt crack those electro Lecters. XD

I went with Arlecchino Yae Chev and Thoma top half, and Klee Kazuha Furina Baizhu bottom half. Weak shields + bad at dodging was a bit of a problem for me, but would recommend otherwise.

Probably gonna use a xianling neuvilette team for 1st half and just make shure xianling ahs insane er and pus some fav users in there. As for the 2nd half probably gonna be standard arlechino team

Mixed feelings about this one. I don't like when there are hyper specific requirements for shields etc, hard counter mechanics are never fun. At the same time, these sides do allow quite a bit of flexibility other than wanting pyro. I guess not the worst of the harder abyss cycles

Just wanted to leave a comment here to tell people to USE SUCROSE SECOND HALF! No matter what team, running her is great(driver, res shred, CC) and especially with that 4-star only overload team second half, she is the best there!

Are you gonna do a Arlecchino build guide? I know you did one where you explained her kit and a small c0 showcaase, but I'd love an actual guide comparing weapons, artifacts, etc.! Edit: im aware of the details guys, I just love seeing all the calculations and numbers for every weapon artifacts etc lol

Its crazy how easy this is with neuvillette, he's just in a league of its own and no one comes even close to his power

So i used in top half Arlecchino Vape and in Bottom Half Childe National worked pretty fine

Those abyss clearly want my to retry for each floor with more adapted teams...

I could not get past kenkies (1 atempt cos casual, even if i got past them could maby max 1 star cos dps check so i dont bother yet) I only have 1 team decently built (nuvi raiden dehya nahida), any suggestions for second team to start building? Is there a strong enough team to take care of most shields kinda effectively and can still clear good enough swaping to poorly built team member in case of element immune bosses? On bench i have all 4* except toma, all standard 5* except jean, furina, xiao, ayaka, yelan, maby snake man next banner As f2p i priority pull on archons (got raiden and nahida after furina, lucky ^^) and if no archon in sight i build pitty on the ones that can help my account if i get them (example snake man for furina teams) What i allways skip unless they are archons are hard to play on phone (example hutao) and fatui (example daddy) no matter how op they are

Spent 2 hours trying different teams like raiden national and ayaka freeze instead of my usual hyperbloom because it's best against single target but the moment I went to hyperbloom I got it first try(except the second chamber). Hyperbloom on top

Navia double pyro is great to use on 1st half, the other should be Burgeon team.

I have the most problem with 12-2 bc my Arlecchino isn't well enough. There're so many times Coppelius barely live to generate the third shield. Also, I forgot how to group lectors by going to corner.
