Savannah is Georgia's first city and home to a rich cultural history, but it's also a great place to travel to EAT. Watch as I eat my way through downtown Savannah GA!
I didn't make it to Tybee Island or Forsyth Park on this trip, but hopefully next time.

There are soo many places to eat and you only touched a few. Here are few local spots you definitely need to try: 520 Wings or 520 Tavern Liquid Cafe Tricks BBQ or Randy's BBQ (Both you have to get there early as they serve until they run out) Take out spots Linda's Seafood (take out - Crabs, Conch, shrimp, low country boils, Fish, etc) *There are several seafood market spots** LovesSauces Narobia's Grits and Gravy Tubby's in Thunderbolt Wet Willies (daiquri drinks) Desoto Hilton normally does a daily lunch buffet Zunzi's *haven't been yet but I've heard lots of good reviews** Savannah Sweets (pralines, fudge, etc) I can go on and on! Step outside of the normal tourist stops

Huey’s, Vic’s and (especially) The Olde Pink House are our favorite places to eat. We are fortunate to live in Northeast Florida, so Savannah is just a quick 2 hour drive, and we visit often. ❤️❤️❤️

The Style and Beauty Doctor Yes Girl! Charleston is amazing. Very similar to Savannah. Same classic Southern culture, gorgeous architecture (The Wedding Cake House!), superb dining, and beautiful water. If that’s your jam, come to my neck of the woods and visit Saint Augustine. I’ll be your tour guide. Heck, why not just move here! 😘

Oh wow that’s awesome! Yesss I went to Ole Pink House a few months after filming this video. They were packed so we ate outside and even though it was a bit cold, it was a really nice experience. Food was amazing and so was the service.

Pirates’ House was across the street from your hotel. Highly recommend their lunch brunch. Vinnie Van Gogo (cash only) best pizza located in City Market. The Shrimp Factory try shrimp, crab, spinach and artichoke dip. Enjoyed your video.

Sorry you dines at these places, they’re normally where (We) whenever we’re hungry for real food no one goes to those places except for tourists. The underground! The Yo’ network, who’s cooking ? With a local bus driver, he’ll know who’s selling dinners on his route on any day? Red rice, potato salad, devil crab or fried whitings, or an ox tail dinner. What youre talking about, I’m home raised and know know nothing of. Find a oyster roast or go to Juicy’s . The old days are fading but there’s still a few places that’s still do it right. Home grown Die Hard Bulldog !

I’m going to Savannah on a girls trip in late September, 2021. My husband and I vacationed on St. Simons Island a couple of years back and took a day trip to Savannah. We loved it - can’t wait to try out some of these places mentioned. Trying to find everything out I can about places to go and recommended things to eat!

I loved Mrs. Wilkes Boarding House... fun and awesome food! You really are a neat person, love your video :) Savannah and Charleston SC are close, about two hours apart... well worth a trip to each city so long as your in the neighborhood... each city has it's own characteristic foodie scene, with Charleston being more upscale fusion cuisine and Savannah being more traditional southern style. Only thing I couldn't adjust to was the super-super sweet ice tea... wayyyyyy too much sugar, I was energized for days after drinking that.

germany is pretty good, but i’m ready to get back to some real food LOL !!! my husband is in the military so it’s not as bad. I live in Ansbach, germany . The main thing i love about living in Germany is traveling ❤️ Restaurant recommendations in Savannah - Carey Hilliards ( family friendly) - Barnes ( family friendly - B Matthews ( family friendly) - Sandfly BBQ - BoBo’s Seafood ( it’s not a restaurant, it’s more of a seafood market but it’s really good. one of my favs. low country boil $8!! & you get A LOT OF FOOD! with or with seasoning. - 520 wings - Zunzi - Jalapeños Mexican Grill ( personal fav) - the Shell house restaurant ( More Family friendly) - Loves seafood ( family friendly) For a nice dessert you have to try lulu’s & Donna's delicious delights

Bo Bo's has the best seafood straight out the sea, tepos is good also, and I love shuckers on River Street and Carey Hilliard is always a great spot thats not expensive

Thank you! I stayed at the Kimpton but this video is from summer 2018. I also went back in Dec 2018 and stayed at Hotel Indigo during the holidays with my family. Not sure if those are still good places to stay.

Hilarious... I did a "eat my way through" in New Orleans a few years ago. I think I gained 15 pounds in a week. It looks like I could do the same damage in Savannah. I don't think I would eat N'awlin's food in Savannah, but I would eat southern food there. Guess what? Now that I saw your video, Imma do the same... Thanks again!

The Style and Beauty Doctor yes most of the restaurant are open and as far as our weather it gets cold but not I need a really heavy coat type of cold you can get away with a sweater or light jacket and if by chance it get what Savannians consider cold you can always layer. Around Christmas you definitely want to be in the downtown area for the Christmas lights and all of the festivities we have going on around that time.

It’s always great when other speak so highly of your city, but the places that you ordered drinks from are not known for their alcohol. Next time you should ask around with the locals there. Again, I really enjoyed your comments in the video...spot on.

There’s a place called Trick’s, but you have to take the food to go, but great BBQ ribs! For some of the best dessert I’ve had is at a place called “Better than Sex”.

Tequila Town has amazing Mexican food, including fish tacos (sometimes made with grouper!). The Public is one of our standbys. The Crystal Beer Parlor has really good burgers and ab fab gumbo. The Green Truck isn't walking distance (it's a few miles out Habersham) but the food is always good and the burgers are amazing.
