Here are just a few fun ways I've been able to put plastic to good reuse around my house. I've gotten very creative with finding ways to reuse and re-purpose different types of plastic fruit of food containers.

I think these idea are very creative and helpful with small storage. You also get my kudos with your strong reuse of items that otherwise would end up in the trash and landfill somewhere. I'm not a real big bling fan but it's not me your making this for, thanks for doing your part to reduce and reuse items.

Cute ideas, but I'd use a clean box instead of the PH one. It might attract buns, start to smell, or absorb into something it shouldn't. Or a pet might get into it and choke on something. Some of those would be great for craft room storage. Thanks!

I really liked the 2nd to last drawer you made. So neat. Can I ask, do you have any trouble with the grease from the pizza box seeping through the layers? I’ve always been told that it would. I’m keen to hear what your experience is, AND I’d like to be able to use my pizza boxes and not throw them in the trash. (Can’t put them in recycling here due to “food contamination”. from the grease residue). Thank you for sharing. 🌹Rosie of Oz 🇦🇺

I don't know....an alot of time and money in supplies to keep a few disposable items out of the land fill. Results are clever and sort of cute if they are really used.

Yes, I think keeping things out of the landfill is a noble undertaking. Especially if you enjoy it. We are losing our recycle facility in my city because not enough people care enough to go thru a little trouble to use the service. They had rather throw in the trash to go to a landfill.

Try to take multiple shots of the final product with different things in it. For example you showed the drawer from many angles but each time it had the same stuff in it (nail polish and eye brows kit). It's better if you showed the drawer again with stationery, different bits and bobs etc

gerldine rice so you have no problem purchasing things to immediately place in our landfill? These things DO NOT get recycled. Yes, we separate them but they do not get recycled. It’s all,a feel good act. Stop purchasing anything in plastic. There ARE alternatives.

OMG! What are you? 10? 12? This is like that old saying, “you can put lipstick on a pig, but in the end what you have is a pig in cheap makeup. For God’s sake take a series of art classes at a Jr College to learn to do work with wood, clay, glass, something real and be creative in a true sense. This is a waste, of your time to produce weird stuff that won’t last and is still refuse!

I’m talking to anyone who thinks they can make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Junk is junk! No mater how much glitter you dump on it. If you want nice things you must use quality supplies for a good result. I am one of those who only buys containers of glass or recycle-able materials. I make most of my own spreads, relish, etc, and reuse the glass containers myself. Retailers will only continue to use plastic containers if the public continues to buy their junk. Let the producers figure out what to do with their crap plastic containers.

I think some commenters don’t like the cutesy decorative style. Probably if you did glossy black or Camouflage or something sleek,or masculine they would not make rude comments. Anyways not your problem.

This is fantastic! - apart from the glitter. Please don’t use glitter at all for anything. It’s an environmental disaster, impossible to clean up and lays in the environment for ever!!
