I'm kinda confused. How skills did you hotkey? 1. Hemorrhage 2. Blood Surge 3. Blood Mist / Decrepify 4. Iron Maiden 5. Raise Skeleton 6. Golem (To control your Golem) Where do you put your 1. Ultimate Skill 2. Bone Spirit I'm kinda confused, I play on Xbox and I can only hotkey 6 skills out of 8 buttons. Two of them are for potion and roll. Do people on PC get to hotkey more than 6? Also, is there an alternative to Blood Surge? I don't feel like getting close to the enemies.

A blood Necromancer seems like it is going to be crazy tanky with the different abilities that fortify health but still do good damage with the buffed overpower damage. I played a blood dk in wow so I'm a little excited!!

Which is the better to play thorns, Necro or Barb ?

This is exactly what I was looking for. I resonated with a tanky necromancer, but couldn't figure it out. I'm pumped to use this as a template for a thorn, 0 summon build. Minions with thorns are obviously nuts, but just not my style

I went a full corpse explosion and everything that made corpses, surprisingly it was a full minion build aswell

From my understanding, each of the Summons (Skeletal Warriors, Mages, Golem) is also a skill on your bar. So if you're running all (3) summons, that should only leave (3) available skill slots. We'll know by tomorrow for sure, but I'm hoping that information is wrong and the Summons are actually passive (i.e. they appear after x amount of seconds once killed)

Thorns necromancer gonna be so fun to play in the early to mid game but i bet it falls off in late game (like thorns usually does) i hope thats not the case tho - thorns necro or barb gonna be my second character gonna decide during next beta wich one of those two i gonna give it a shot....gonna abuse sorcerer first to get some nice gear

You spec these skills: Summon, Decrep/Bloodsurge, Iron Maiden, Hemmorage, Bloodmist, Bone Spirit, AotD. That's 7 skills, there are only 6 slots. Your build doesn't leave room for the ultimate...

Funny I find this after I went with a thorns build after finding Razorplate lol I walk into the PvP zone to do side missions or ToW missions and have seen people kill themselves trying to kill me while I mind my own business lmao it’s hilarious

Isn't Decrepify bad for a Thorns build? The monsters do less damage, and therefore less damage to themselves. Right?

I have a build for Bloodlance, no minion and thorns for AoE

How are you playing the necromancer when the game doesnt come back online until the 24?

Uhh as far as I've seen from the screenshots each summon you want (warrior, mage, gole) is a skill you have to put into your hotbar. That means playing a minon mancer you have already 3 skill slots socketed which leaves you only with 3 ohter skills. I personally really hope that is not the case and they are like passively summoning themselves or you summon them with some sort of their extra button not on the hotbar but yeah it looks like they are a skill in itself which takes space in the hotbar which is very unfortunate.

This is why thorns never works: aoe damage can kill everything on the screen before it gets to you, thorns requires monsters to attack you in melee only 8-10 at a time and rarely even that. So even a thorns build that kills everything instantly when it attacks you is inefficient to a solid aoe build.

You are selecting too many skills. Golem and skeletons will use 2 skill slots so you may only select 4 from the talent tree.
