this is nonsense! pike come to no harm when kept in a landing net for a short period, they just lie quietly, perhaps they 'think' they are hiding in a weedbed. I actually think it is better to let the fish rest in the landing net before releasing it so it is fully recovered, and certainly if you want to take photos of a big mama keep it safely in the net while you get everything ready.

@@julianthomas6899 I disagree with that. Do you really think after a long fight for the fish he thinks ohh yeah iam just chilling in a weedbed now. No the fish is totally exhausted and is afraid to die now. How we know from the past 10 years of science fish are quiet vigilant and they feel pain nearly as we do. On top of that is coming that their afraid and fearfull. So for me fishing is just a way to get yourself food from nature and not playing around with fishes just to make a nice picture... So always realse the fish you have straight away if you dont want to eat it, cause of size or other facts. Just fish for middle size fish. Never for the biggest or smallest to make it possible that your and my children can experience the same world as we do !

Hi, It really depends on how big hands you have. If you have big hands - go for 61 the model. If you have normal or smaller go for the 51. The gear ratio depends on the type of fish and how cold it is in the water. But I would say go for 6:2.1, it's the standard speed and you can both speed up and slow down the speed on your lure by yourself. Kind regards, Tobias Ekvall

If u can find places where is sudden drops like from 3-4 to 7-10 meter drops, try jigging around those places, sorry bad english.
