Special shoutout to DeFrowe Airsoft for letting me borrow every handgun (except the M17) for this video! Check him out: ru-vid.com/show-UC28krwXWcV7W0wpVbRxoPDg
If you run real count yes, yes you need it. (I also started running real count with my primary and sidearm this year and have gotten way more “kills” in Airsoft).
people laugh but the center axis relock is a epically efficient way to use a pistol. not so much with a rifle but i train using CARS and i love it. it feels like you are making the pistol part of your body. great video. cheers
I mostly carry a pistol if I have a med. In my last game it really came into play because we did a free for all and half the time they were too close or had no time to switch.
Love carrying my ProForce P320 m17, it just fills out my belt rig! My daughter and I routinely run just our belt rigs and sidearms for CQB pickup games...TONS of fun!!
Malfs: Once my motor escaped from the gun during the first shot. But otherwise I rarely needed a sidearm. I use them for looking cool and I also rather have it and not need it. Also-also, I'm fat and weak, so I use my sidearm to have a break basically.
I love having an Airsoft sidearm. Its especially important to me now im using a GBB rifle, as extra easy to carry pistol mags and ammo and its really nice to have if and when you need to fight your way into buildings where there is not a lot of room. I also find it extremely useful if im approaching the threshold of a door or entrance with a bang grenade in one hand, that im about to toss though, so if someone peaks, its easier to 'one hand' aim and shoot a sidearm than a rifle. I'm still not sure if it's faster to reload your rifle or draw your sidearm though :D
Been using the Marui desert Eagle and have definitely had to get creative with repairs for it. It's a fun pistol with fun recoil. But when it blows up on me (green gas) definitely looking at the gen 4 maruis.
I do run a TM high capa5.1 with the strike kit neo on it when i run my 400 fps ngrs scar L for cqb and going in buildings so im not hurt people in close range. And i also use it when i am runny around with my street sweeper so im not Sol after 12 shots. I recently bought a dan Wesson 715 6in because its fun and impractical ... And so i can spend most of the game reloading if I run it with the street sweeper.
My motto is plenty of everything, mags, optics on anything, upgrades but no mock parts, no molle left behind, so a pistol is a must 😊 One game I carried an AEP, GBB and CO2 Revolver plus an AK. Needles to say I used all of these 😂
Great comparison of the profile difference! Personally we recommend a sidearm for emergencies, or if there are minimum engagement distances on your primary.
@@MaydaysanAirsoft It's not always the case, especially at events where there is a hard limit on Joules, but at many of the fields we frequent, LMGs, Snipers, and some Rifles get a 25ft - 75ft MED depending on how hard they shoot. Great video either way! Just thought we'd mention the MEDs.
why do you prefer the m17 over the 18. i love the compact framed pistol. all 6 of pistols are compact. can you switch to a compact after using full size pistols. have ever tried just curious cheers
that blows! i just have problems finding pistols other than the g19 and usp-c that fit my hand but are still small enough to be what im used to. thanks for messeging back. means alot. cheers bro.@@MaydaysanAirsoft
@@MaydaysanAirsoftI'd say it makes a lot of sense. Most people dislike being shot with 2 joule ARs at point blank. If your primary is a full auto (by law 0,5 joule) or
Seller : So, just to ask you fair and square since you are just starting out, have you considered a sidearm to your Carbine? Me : Hmm good question. Seller : Well we have replicas from Sig Sauer, Steyer, Colt, Smith&Wessen, different Glocks, Taran Tactical, HK and such? Me : I'll take one of each ty (I wish)
