In other Countries, like mine, Australia, Police are held to a higher standard. And Police Corruption is rare. We had a huge problem with it in the 80’s. And they had a Royal Commission to investigate the NSW Police Force. It took over 10 years. Many Officers were fired or charged with crimes and did prison time. America has terrible standards and encourages Police corruption by not holding them to a higher standard. America is a joke. In every way possible.
In the spirit of 'Speeding Fines Are Doubled In A Construction Zone'. I think its time to update all American Oaths! America deserves Hi Tech oath giving and taking, a 21rst Century Update. Oath takers look into an 8K camera and explain what they know about what they're signing up to do, and how they understand the severe consequences for oath-breaking. All oath uploaded to public domain. Fakers & breakers immediately get whats coming to them... double.
Like an attorney they should be held to a higher standard than the rest of us. If a police officer is punished or even charged it makes a lawsuit against the municipality from the officers victim much much easier.
They can because body cams are public record and victims info is not always public. Example. Woman who is a victim of severe domestic violence, they have to call her info and the location of the shelter they are taking her too. I’m not saying it isn’t always used appropriately. But that’s an example why they have the ability to mute audio.
@@Bear230grain That makes sense. But in that case, there should be a review and redaction process. Too many officers use this ability to cover up shady dealings.
It's because cops thinking is the tools given to them work to their disadvantage against them rather than for them when used in a reasonable or appropriate way! Cover up is their only way and it's not any legitimate good reason keeping police tactics a secret but a lame excuse against accountability! They have know idea what was decide muting, and learn from their mistakes aftermath when their actions turned lethal. Their recklessness is one sided.
@CarlaCollins-mh1ii you seemed to be another that has a preset agenda. All officers are bad, right? Where would we be without the good officers? There are some that should never had taken up that badge. The majority, though, are good.
@@thesjyoungjr Uumm, excuse me?! What are you even talking about 🧐. I say again, but now with more conviction, Your comprehension skills are SORELY lacking 🤦🏾♀️
I became a cop unfortunately after my 12 years of service in the marine corps. I eventually resigned after 2 years on the job. I was disgusted by how corrupt and criminal the department was. It was San Antonio PD here in south Texas. You wouldn't believe the things I witnessed and I reported everything to Internal Affairs. Of course I saw nothing being done about it. FTP
I was a cop in PHILLY during the 90s ( of course no badge cams back then )and my dept was the same way,a real eye opener for me at that time. LOL. Cops doing whatever they felt like doing, they were worse than the criminals. LOL. I too reported incidents of wrong doing to IA,nothing happened. I lasted 2 /12 yrs ( the only reason I was a cop and lived in Philly was because I had a fiancee there )so our relationship ended, there was no longer a reason to stay a cop or continue to live in Philly. So,I joined the army and left.
I wish you were brave enough to report it to we the people instead of only internal affairs who covered it all up again. If you ever find the courage to do so I will stand with you and God will surely be there as well since He is never far from me. May you be brave and bold and have courage to take a stand against evil wherever you go. Edmond Burke…the only thing necessary for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.
Reason I stopped with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. Always having to pull the sheriff out of ditches. Seeing a police officer arrest a man for public intoxication after opening the beer for him. Having to witness a man being arrested for cocaine distribution after walking up to a man in the club, flirting and then asking him if he could get her some coke.
She wanted to escalate the situation with the victim so bad! She wanted him to react so she could pin him for something, anything! That way, the car accident and his supervisor's DUI would've been dismissed in the blink of an eye! Thankfully, the victim kept his cool, because she was looking for ANY excuse to arrest him and his friend and she even says it in the video 'those two are bothering me'.
@@kungfreddie She said 'those two are bothering me', when they were clearly the victims on that accident. She went back and forth and back and forth trying to bother the victims and clearly stalling. It was clear she wanted to help her drunk supervisor. If her supervisor was a John Doe who had crasshed while DUI, she would've put him in cuffs 30 seconds after getting out of her cop car and all that shit show would've been over in 5 minutes. At the end, given the victims didn't give her any excuse and did everything 'by the book', she had no other choice but to take her friend to the polite station.
Amen, that cop who ran into another vehicle was definitely drunk, he had to tell the quota hire female to “”handcuff him + behind his back”” The cop on duty who fell asleep drunk 🥴had lethal weapons at his disposal, plus the gun wasn’t taken away from him,or at the police station even🤯
The city of the first officer is one if not the worst cities in Cleveland. Look it up: East Cleveland. The City he got arrested in is actually only 1 mile and a half long and one of the wealthiest cities in the area all lakefront and mansions.
I did this shitty thankless job for 26 years. The first five was "routine patrol" (breaking up domestics and dealing with out of control kids) which got old real fast. As soon as I could get transferred into traffic, things were better. HOWEVER at that time in the late 70's to early '80's "policy" was if we caught another officer (ours or someone else's) we arranged for someone to pick them up and take them home or have whatever department they were with to came and take them home. THAT twisted me to no end. There were many times where I had to grit my teeth and let him skate. Police officers need to be held to a HIGHER STANDARD and yet that blue line protects bad guys.
The black boy's cigarette made her sick, but that little friend's cigarette didn't cause her anything...By the way, what a beautiful way to be treated while you are being arrested!!! That way anyone allows themselves to be arrested...
I'm so glad they're worried about integrity... Which we all know is only because the body cams were on, which is exactly why he asked. They still were corrupt as shit even on the cams. Also as a 47y white guy, it infuriates me to no end the way they treated the black guy he hit. He was the victim, did absolutely nothing wrong & was polite & respectful the entire time, when he had every right to be livid.
@@BNerdy very true! I'm so sick of people treating each other differently just because you look different, talk differently etc. when are we going to stop this stupid crap & realize there's only 1 race... Human!
@@Administrator_O-5 I really appreciate you & your comment. Treat others how you to be treated, it's not difficult but so many seem to disregard this & then they constantly complain why the world is messed-up 🤷♂️
The cop crying and having a panic attack because he's in handcuffs is the funniest thing I have ever seen. It's like beyond absurd anybody else would have been charged with resisting and theyd beat his ass to get him in the car.
"See if we can do anything special since it's one of us" just bc they have a badge makes them no better then a regular citizen! If anything more should be expected from the police bc they are the one's who are supposed to make sure the law is upheld. What a great justice system!!
When a cop tells another cop... who is suspected of a drunk driving accident'.... 'there are things that we can do to fix this Bertie'. Is she 'just doing her job'? Or does that fall under 'serve and protect'? @14:40
Cops should be brought up on charges if they are found to have shown ANY preferential treatment to other law enforcement officers caught breaking the law
Everyone need to see the double standard public employees have when dealing with other public employees if it was a citizen showed a gun they would be dead. The other public employees are criminal and need to be held accountable to the same laws they hold us accountable too
He wasn't crying because of the indecent he was crying because his wife had divorced him and his life had gone down...this was just the stick that broke the camel's back. If you listen closely you can hear him saying that he isn't coping with the divorce Andmfrom whwtmwent on when it was just themtwo of them she had a big crush on him for quite some time.
You broke this one down way better than the original clip. Great job. Referring to the pig with airbag deployment and selective cigarette smoke exposure.
There should be a rule where a officer cant assist their fellow officer in any way, someone higher up and of a different status should be the one to do that and that will omit all the special treatment, hugs, & kisses. Theres so much he did that would have been another charge for a civilian. I didnt know they could be so nice and deescalate a situation so well

@ 19:38 Josh is claustrophobic when being forced into the back seat wearing cuffs but he is not when he is in the front seat driving.
Aahh! Poor Birdie 😞 needed hugs.. Wanted a DUI swept under the rug.. After the police 🚨 told him no ... Asked the arresting officer to blow... You poor Birdie is drunk they stated.. The poor Baby was double intoxicated!
"No, look. Ok, well look. You know, well hold o..no, let me tell youn...let me....let me tell you, let, ok, let me tell you let me tell you...............i probably would have" Im sorry, that shit had me lmao😂😅
Was waiting for them to call the police chiefs mayor and union reps to drive them home. Hold we need to stop @ 7-Eleven to get them coffee before we tuck them in at home.😅😅
Amazing how different they treat their own.....she LITERALLY talked to him a ‘mom voice’ on purpose💯She KNOWS he is drunk and keeps asking if he is good.....WOW! We would have been in jail already!
The inability of these cops to accept responsibility for their actions is utterly reprehensible and what makes it worse is how complicit the investigating officers are. How on earth is a guy arrested for DUI allowed to keep his loaded gun on his hip inside a police station!! I’m pretty sure if this was a normal citizen he’d be in handcuffs or most probably dead by now!!!
When she said integrity, it was absolutely sickening and disgusting. She has no clue about what integrity means. Typical kid gloves for Leo’s instead of being held accountable.
"I respect you!" I wouldn't respect a colleague more if they tried to dirty my reputation and expected special treatment. He is a nest-💩er. I understand that you back up a partner when your job is difficult and you had to make a split-second tough decision. Or if you see them drunk before they do stupid stuff. But getting a slap on the wrist when you apparently have an alcohol issue at your job won't help.
But you must understand that even if you are a good cop who is not cool with other cops breaking the law, you have to be very careful how you handle it. You would go from being like to being hated overnight turning on a cop. Just like in the crime world. it is not different. They are just people. And a lot of them are not good people. Trust me, I know.
Yes, I totally agree. I had a police officer in Minnesota years ago that told me~~~~there was NO ONE HE COULD TRUST~~in his own department~~1983❗️ Plus, I took care of a cop in a hospital 🏥 who was from NY, he said the corruption is severe, and he wasn’t going to remain as a cop here in Florida.~~year 1991.
If a lot of them would be good people, then there would be no stigma about holding other cops accountable. I'm sorry, but you're a pussy if you day after day haul in people for these same things, but then turn into a crying mess when it's your time to face up to the music. A grown cop should be able to take his punishment and move on without becoming a 12 year old.
What other job can you get with only a high school diploma or GED and make over $70,000.00 yearly? The only requirement is the ability to read- comprehension is optional! Junior officers with a college degree and further military training make far less than that.
