What a beautiful family I am so glad you are better. I had peritonitis and sepsis two years ago. 3 surgery three weeks in hospital. A police escort to hospital and I don't remember the first week. It has put me in constant pain and a wheelchair. I am so glad you are fir and healthy sending much love.

Hello Laurien, how scary and how brave you were. As I mentioned previously, Sepsis is truly scary and can be absolutely fatal so thank goodness and bless your sweet soul that you are ok. Your beautiful husband Curtis was remarkable at taking care of you and staying right by your bedside too. Just lovely to watch such a sweet couple still smiling in the mix of all you went through! I thought all the children coped really well too, and how wonderful are Grandparents to help out, such blessings. xx

Oh my goodness, Laurien! I didn't realize just how ill you were. My hat is off to Curtis. He did absolutely the right thing and was amazing looking after you in the way he did. That's real love right there ❤️. I'm so glad that you're in recovery now as I can't believe how dangerous that was for you. Take care of yourself, always, as I know how much you take care of everyone else ❤️❤️❤️ I just had to add how much Lilac looks like Flossie, who just melted my heart when she came to visit you xox

I nearly died of sepsis after having my son in June. I spent two weeks on delivery suite being cared for by the intensive care team & a 1 to 1 midwife. I should have been there longer but they discharged me at that point so I could travel to a different hospital to be with my baby who had been transferred for heart surgery. Sepsis is so scary, I’m so pleased you made a full recovery. Congratulations on your baby girl too, she’s lovely xx

@@OrdinaryEnglishMum they suspect it was from a collection of fluid in my stomach which I had to have drained but can’t be certain. I keep meaning to ring for a debrief with the hospital I’d like to understand more about what happened now I’m feeling better. My little Lochy had a really rough time. In his first two weeks he had three lots of heart surgery. One was open heart and two through his groin. We had no idea he had heart complications until he was born so it was a huge shock. His much better now thankfully, he does still have a leaky mitral valve but it’s really small now so his heart is so much better but it has left him really vulnerable to getting poorly. He always seems to have a cough of cold etc. His just a hospital stay for croup & in august was in intensive care with RSV so I’m dreading the really cold months. I want to wrap him in bubble wrap. Thank you for asking x I’m loving your channel :) came across it recently and have been watching some of your uploads xx

@@carabrownable How did the fluid collect? Do they know why? my gosh heart surgery that must have been so hard for you too. Awww I'm sorry but it sounds like he is doing so well. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year and I'm so glad you are both better now xx
@carabrownable
@carabrownable Год назад
We aren’t really sure, they said it’s not uncommon after surgery (which I’d had as Lochy was a c section delivery) There was worry it could turn to an abscess too so it was better removed. It did come back but not as large in volume then once I was home I developed a haematoma which was agony but thankfully that dispersed itself too. Was a really rough couple of months for both of us 😵‍💫 not how we planned his birth at all but was all worth it because he is amazing 💙 Thank you we had a lovely Christmas and new year, looks like you did too. Iv been catching up on your Christmas vlogs. Congratulations on your new baby niece, what a lovely present 💝 xx

Hi larine. I've had Sepsis. Through a Abses in my Gum. I was on antibiotics through a drip like you had. And a Catheter. I was in hospital for four days. Feeling very drained and weak. Had to use a frame to walk around the ward . I felt very Shaking in my body. While I was trying my best to walk with the frame. Sending you much love. Hope you get well soon. Love to you all Maria 💗 xx

@@OrdinaryEnglishMum l went to the dentist to have a tooth out. But the doctor in the dentist couldn't take it out on the day. There was an Abses on the Gum of the tooth. That needed to come out. He told me to go up the hospital. And the hospital doctor. Said l had to stay in hospital for four days. I was put on antibiotics drips. And during the time. The doctor came in my room. And said to me and my husband. I had Sepsis. The Abses had gone through my Blood Stream. Which caused Sepsis. I came out of hospital four days later. And had the bad tooth taken out. The following week. I'm alright now and recovered from Sepsis. Love Maria 💗 xx

Hi Gemma, yes I am thank you so much for asking. It's from a website called Konny which ships from another country but you can get them on amazon which seems the easiest and maybe cheapest way but check the website first because you put in your weight height etc and it tells you which size is best for you. I really recommend it I searched so long to find it. Most of them you have to wrap them around you yourself but this you put straight over you like a t shirt it's soo easy and works sooo well it's amazing. All he could do was abuse me in all ways he could and enjoy his life and go on holidays. I love my life blessed with a miracle baby and makes me happy in ways I can't describe 💓 tc and look after yourself so you can look after the rest. Lilac looked so gorgeous at 10:16. @@lisaaitken9357 yes I am. Me and my son are doing great and I am thankful that social workers are not involved anymore. They were involved from my first trimester till I had to leave the area we were living in as my husband would continue to keep abusing me. The abuse never stopped. Now I am not in contact with him and he doesn't want anything to do with the baby. He would rather live his life. Sad but true

@@OrdinaryEnglishMum I am no longer with him. But the stress I was put through throughout my pregnancy and some month's later was so much that I was shocked when my baby was born. He was so healthy bless. My placenta was just below my belly button so I could not feel the baby kicking or moving and I had several hospital visits all alone, sometimes I would be there during the night early mornings. I am so glad it's all over. Most of all social workers are satisfied with how I'm bringing up my son and finally off my case. I'm worried although he said he doesn't want anything to do with his son, he may come back and try to snatch him from me since I would have done all the hard work. He once offered me money to give him the child immediately after the delivery. I just hope he doesn't get custody.
