If you’re looking for a safe destination to solo travel, it is Rishikesh! And, I’ll tell you why: My scooter happened to break down here as well and it was the hospitable locals of Rishikesh that came to my rescue!
As you watch the vlog, Day 1 is all about adventure where you will first witness me bungee jumping (highest in all of India), which was undoubtedly the pinnacle of facing my fear. Day 2 we celebrate Mahashivratri and explore the spiritual side of Rishikesh, visiting the Beatles Ashram and Ganga Aarti. And lastly Day 3 has off-beat Rishikesh where we visit a waterfall and swim in a secret pool cave.
There’s so much to do in Rishikesh that 3 days indeed wasn’t enough. Which is why this time the trip went over my budget, adapting adventure sports and other experiences. A little dip, but so worth it!
Definitely visiting this place next time!
