We set out by canoe into the wilderness of Ontario in Algonquin Park.
We battle storms, strong wind,rain and exhaustion over the course of our grueling route through wilderness.
We see a lot of very cool things, experience trees falling 20ft from us at camp, getting wind bound and having to change course to complete our journey through the Wilderness in 4 Days.

Hey brother just wanted to say me and my daughter love watching your videos and dougs too. She was diagnosed with cancer and we sold all of, well hell most of everything so camping gear went when we need some meds so being able to watch your videos really helps man. This was such an epic, hard trip. I learned, and re-learned a lot of things on this one. I have a lot of good footage, I'm making at least 1 more episode in this series, maybe 2 more. After that, expect to see a change, the videos will be more bushcraft oriented for this season. I'll be building shelters, using minimal gear, using an axe a lot more, and staying a lot more stationary. I had to drive from Cambridge to Windsor and back for work last week. On the way back I got to drive behind you on the highway. I recognized your canoe and I'll admit it, it made my day to see you, especially seeing the canoe and knowing you were going somewhere to make another video! I got pretty excited when we both took the same exit; I needed gas and hoped if you also were stopping for gas, I would get to give you a thumbs up in person. I love Joe and friends' videos because they are normal people going camping and not survivalists or "tough guys" who have to make perfect videos where they look like badass outdoorsman. They show us all that we can go camping and maybe a canoe/camping trip and we don't have to be perfect about it, because it's not THAT hard. You just have to be prepared and know a couple of things.

You know its funny at 3:08 3 min and 08 sec you just paddled over a huge batch of wild edibles called Arrow Head or Wapato and I was like dude your talking about being tired and warn out as you pass by some food.
