4 Days in My Life | Vlog S5 E12 

I think the vlogs speak true to the overall productivity message: that a productive day isn't one that is crammed with work from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep, but a day that is spent doing whatever is meaningful and important to you. Even just deciding to sleep and spend time with a loved one was an important moment to include because that is what real self care looks like.

The big value I get from this blog is I get to have an insight about my mentor's life in an authentic way.

I enjoy the segments when you treat the camera as your journal and elaborates on ideas, future plans, how it is going etc.

What I find really helpful about this format is seeing how you jump from/juggle all of the different hats required to do what you do. It's one thing to hear an explainer on how to balance work and personal time and keep multiple projects running at once and manage a team and and and... but it's a totally different thing to see someone walk it out on any given week. Both are great, but I really think these vlogs give a very healthy and important balance to the picture. I don't think you need to worry about them feeling any particular way or being "interesting" enough. Honestly, I'd happily watch you make a cup of tea for 20 minutes if it meant you chatting about your thought process while you stirred. Thanks for taking on the added effort and vulnerability of adding this content to your workflow!

I love to see your daily routine *outside* of your work around the business. Like the gym routine, waking up, etc. I think it's bc it gives me an idea of what is needed day to day in order to consistently enable that level of work. Super helpful.

I think for people who are thinking about being self-employed there's a fear that you won't have stuff going on; there's a vague understanding of what the day-to-day would look like, so watching your vlogs helps a lot!

What I got from watching your vlog is seeing the process in your life. It reminds me that all success comes from enjoying the process and doing the work. We need to be patient, work hard, and do what we enjoy. It's also a very special feeling to know what a person I respect does in their day-to-day life, serving as an example for how we live our own lives.

The vlogs are fantastic to say the least! They’re almost like an amalgamation of everything we’ve seen about you on your main youtube channel. From watching you use notion to your iPad, to you building your book, your personal goals and your gym life, and how you bring productivity into everything including your travel! Just jam-packed with little easter eggs to the long-term viewers of yours!

Ali, you are changing my life for the better, one vlog at a time. I’m watching this as I eat sushi at my favorite restaurant, and am learning so much whilst enjoying the hell out of my time here. The value your video gives me is EDUCATION mixed with entertainment. Thank you for sharing your essence with the universe, you are truly a force of good in this world.

Love the vlog and one of very few I watch through, learn from, and can relate a little as we build our channel! Nice to see the stuggles and wins to know we're at least heading in a similar direction to someone we look up to!

I love this type of behind the scenes videos because it is amazing to see your work ethic! It’s also interesting to see how different each day is and how you structure it and use all your available time productively ie choosing the uber.

Watched it all - Right now the vlog structure is "I did this. Then I did that. Then I did this..." but what I want to hear is "it made me feel this way...I was looking forward to this...I do this often because...I really enjoy this because...This is one of my favourite things to do" etc. You know, some human personality :) It would be interesting to see you vlog in your "off-season" - right now, it looks like you have an overwhelmingly busy schedule - do you enjoy being this busy? I would like to hear what you enjoy, what challenges you, how you are feeling during the day? What is the cost of building all these businesses (not in the monetary sense)? Maybe "The hidden costs of being a busy business owner"...How does it affect you physically and mentally? (I also travel a lot for work and it's my least favourite part!)

It is really nice to just see you live life. you actually live what you preach and at the same time you are still human. I'm particularly excited that you have a love life too *cries* and making time to hang out and what not. it is fun!! what value did I gain specifically? seeing your workflow and jumping from one meeting to another, it reminds me that good things take time and intentionality.

Always great seeing what you are getting up to on the daily and the opportunities/challenges you face - I think it would be beneficial to have a topic highlighted from a day, that you speak more on or give more thought/wisdom too.

I love watching how you make the most of every minute including travel time. Itwould be great to look at your diary at the same time to see how you blocked out the time.

Most value I got - somehow it’s motivating to see someone I relate to go through a realistic day, and helps me to keep going. Two analogies might help - first, it’s like when you go to the library and other people working motivates you too. And secondly, seeing you go through small struggles like when you were knackered and took a nap, that is soooo realistic, and good to see you go through it too.

I think the vlog gave me value in that it made me realise that your level of success comes at a high price, it really puts into perspective everything that goes on behind the scenes. Your main channel makes your life seem so smooth but this feels more real. You must be exhausted 😂

Ali, the greatest value is that I can see I don't want a bar of the life that you have. All of this looks painful. Everything except the piano playing. The journey of going from rank 1 Cambridge med, *making it*, to vlogging in messy bedroom and attending pointless meetings, fully breaks the illusion for me and I love it. I'm fully hooked. Pls continue making these :) I'm hoping for a huge plot twist where you drop all the guru business stuff and lock yourself in a studio for 6 months and come out with the sickest album.

The value I got is that there's a lot you can do in a day if you use time intentionally.

Not sure if this is useful, but I would honestly watch a full raw 40-45 minutes of this (Sam Sulek style) - I consider you an online mentor so I honestly get value just from seeing what an unedited day looks like for someone that is where I aspire to be in a couple of years. More specifically it would have been amazing to have included that entire RU-vid Strategy session so viewers can act as a "fly on the wall" and get direct value from whatever advice you and your team shared.
