4 days wild camping and nature photography in Denmark together with my friend Simon. Behind the scenes about the photo gear and outdoor equipment I bring on these trips.
Location: Central Denmark.
Simon had an assignment to work on, and I decided to join him on this 4 day trip to the center and western part of Denmark. The weather was a bit unsteady so luckily we found some great shelters for the night. It was truly amazing just to relax in nature with a good friend, cooking food on the fire, swimming in the lake and just having a great time.
I am doing some landscape photography which is definitely not something I am very good at. I also tried some time lapse photography, but there are huge room for improvement.
I am more comfortable with close-up photography and I got some quite nice photos of a small spider.
I got my hands on the new Nikon Z MC 105mm macro lens and already now I can say that I love that lens. First of all it is a joy to get rid of the ftz adapter and second the autofocus and the vibration reduction is just awesome.
In the behind the scenes I am going through the equipment I usually bring on trips like this.

This is better than a Discovery Channel's documentary, my mother and I are enjoying every detail and it feels like going camping with you. I just wish I was there with my mom and my doggie to enjoy all of the beauty of that wonderful place. Blessings!

OMG! I have the same tripod and just few days ago I bought the same Fstop bag and upgraded to Z6ll+grip and also do trips with my dog... AND NOW THIS CHANNEL GETS IN MY RECOMMENDED!? Oooh, how cute with a man-bun! Makes you look like a hipster. ;) Btw, I saw two ospreys at Ekkerøy peninsula, in Varanger (Finnmark, North of Norway) just a week ago. And thousands of kittiwakes and other sea birds, and those who eat them. It was fascinating to stand underneath a large flock of terns and some kind of seagulls, just surfing the wind. They were flying so low, I could almost touch them. They didn't really care about me or my dogs. Not recommended for those who saw the old Hitchcock film "The Birds" and freaked out, though. ;D

@@MortenHilmer Yes, the coast of Finnmark has a lot of seabirds in the season. At Ekkerøy you can stand right underneath the bird cliff. At the little island Hornøya, which is located outside the island Vardø, you get even closer to the birds. Hornøya is a 10 minute boatride from Vardø harbour. Lots of different exotic birds there. I have not been there yet. :)

how do you bring so much gear? For wild camping to photograph the red deer, in my area, we have to be a minimum 3 hour walk from civilisation and 500m from any house. walking through bogland and mountains for 3 hours with gear is a lot.

@@Dreyno Oh for sure I love my sun too for its purposes like swimming but im at a point in my life now where I have no friends to chill with on a sunny day lol So rain for me is soothing, put some jazz on for blogging or just outside sitting down on the rocking chair and take pictures of nature. Wow I sounded old there lol Would love to go to Ireland though; def on my bucket list. What area do you recommend visiting?

@@MikeyCreator West coast is best coast. Anywhere on the western seaboard. Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Kerry and West Cork. The Wild Atlantic Way is a 2,500km route through all those places (and Limerick but Limerick is a bit sh1t). If the weather is nice (ha!) it can be spectacular.

It was a dead tree , did you not watch the whole video , not a live tree a dead , a dead tree , u know a dead tree is a tree that has died , it was once a live living tree and it died for some reason , that’s why he cut it down , it was eventually going to fall to the ground and rot into the soil , so no harm done , now turn your thumb up 👍, good boy , ta ta
