Hello from Oklahoma! Good video! Seeing your cold wet feet reminded me of a little trick we used to do when I was a kid in Nebraska. We would put our stocking feet in plastic bread loaf bags, then put on our boots and then go out in the snow. It worked! The builds you show us are so labor intensive and so cozy. I've tried to build a couple of them and, WHEW! Love the enthusiasm of your dog. Thanks for all You Do! God Bless!!

My drill instructor always told us '5 pairs of socks ' wet, cold feet will give you problems. 50+ years ago and I still practice that. Great video 👍

I go with wool it's warm even when wet and I don't get the trench foot issues I get with synthetic, (or the stink foot! what is it with the synthetics?) .

I have a suggestion sir, how about a video, that starts by showing and telling us how you decide what is a good location to be a shelter then how you determine what type of shelter your going to build.

Please be careful sliding your leg back and forth to clear brush. That is a good way to tear your ACL.

May I kindly request that when you do these videos in the future, you give either a voice over narration or speak during the videos with tips on why you are doing a specific activity to make things clearer? After your last message to me, so much more makes sense now. I am just thinking it would be great to know what your thought process is as you perform certain tasks throughout these awesome videos.
