Sorry for your loss. I saw The Jam in 1982 in the USA on the Last tour. I'm a Huge Fan. I've seen "From the Jam" on RU-vid vids and I think Russell does a Great Job. Not a Weller Imitator. Sings 'Em in his own way.

In late 1981 the garage that i worked at.... the car salesman's daughter wasfriends with Bruce Foxton of "Jam" ....(and i was confused as "The Jam" were the UK's top band) ???? . Then the "penny dropped" 🙂 . He drove a BMW 6 series at the time 🙂 . Stay Well All

Russel Hastings is the lead singer of a band called "From the Jam." It was originally the drummer and the bass guitarist from the band "The Jam" and Russel sang the vocal part of Paul Weller. (Very bloody well I hasten to add.) As far as I know it is just Bruce from the Jam now but an incredible band in their own right.
