That Centurion has great potential. I can see why you wanted it in the first place. Nice ride in it's day. Now I can only imagine what you guys will do to bring it back to life........ As long as the frame is good on the Bronco it still is a good project for restore or modification. Too bad the engine is bad, but can it be rebuilt, then again new engine is nice too might want to see what is the most cost effective solution for it. I know from what I have seen coming out of the shop and what the crew is capable of it will be a nice vehicle for a give away.

This is going to be an awesome build! Can't wait to see the progress.

Awesome job guys!!! But I’d still love to see the old Bronco fixed up right. Those older ones were like Sherman tanks……I loved them. Sad to see one just sitting and not fixed like it should! But still an awesome job on the new one.

Always wanted a Centurion Bronco. But they are really rare now a days to find. Definitely would like to see that one with maybe a Cummins swap and built into a cool overland rig.

I had 78 Bronco I putt a 351 m in it rebuilding the rest of drive train a lot of 3/4 ton parts what you are doing reminds of what I did it's fun and trying moments to good job guys!!!!!!!

Being a solid, somewhat collectable Centurian, I'd certainly get the original Powerstroke overhauled. It rolls & sputters without too many bad noises so shouldn't need much. Y'all are diesel guys, yes? :)

My Dad had the 7.3 NA Centurion. 300 miles per tank of fuel, no matter towing the camper, sailboat, or by itself. Hella reliable. I miss that old truck. Cream with the red stripes.

Alan is hilarious I would rather have a Ram Charger lol I’m a huge Mopar nut so of course I gotta agree but you have to cut a dodge cab off at rear and cut the rear cab off of a different truck and Fab it in a friend of mine actually done it and had to stretch the frame because he done a long bed also took my 92 model Cummins long bed so he has a 91-92 dodge Ram250 4 door long bed 4x4 Cummins 5 spd it’s by far my favorite trk because that’s exactly what I want a truck that works and it has enough room to carry my little girl but I’m still trying to get a truck I don’t have time or money to pull it off 😅 so hell yeah I would drive the tires off the Centurion and especially with the room in the back my baby can have all the room she wants 😁

You should keep going on the Centurion. They relatively rare and unique. I just wouldn't go for a super huge lift and overly gnarly tires. Something tasteful that you would have seen hauling a snowmobile trailer back in the day. The person that would have bought one of those would have been older with a taste for performance.

Just because there is rust on the injector doesn’t necessarily mean it’s throughout the motor. If someone removed the injector and didn’t tighten it, it could be rust from a little moisture. The old oil didn’t seem to have water in it at all. Maybe drain a little of the new oil and see if it’s still clean. Definitely wouldn’t give up on the motor just yet.

crazy it took them that long to realize that an engine with compression, starter fluid and air doesn't have a proper spark... thats basic stuff

I had a couple of those nissans that was sitting on the conex box behind the bronco ,I loved those trucks you couldn't kill them here on the east coast they just slowly disintegrate to nothing but they still run.
