I never had any issues with being tender-headed and in fact always thought that was a weird expression.. After I got my locks the term became very clear. Even the slightest bit of tension hurts. Like you said your hair is not used to being pulled and brushed and combed and your scalp becomes way more sensitive.
Someone else probably said this already but… don’t worry about your edges not joining your locs. Rejoice that you can apply gel and lay your edges. I cannot. I’m trying to offset this by letting my front locs be bangs. Then the edges don’t show. Your locs are beautiful!
I didn’t know i could brush my locs, I’m always annoyed at the lint and dirt in between the strands of my locs no matter how much i wash or deep wash. What kind of hair brush can i use for the hair? I really want to try it.
