Today's video is packed with Quick and Easy Patriotic Projects using Bandana Prints. Join me as we create a painted shutter, shabby tassel, flag pillow, and adorable decorative pinwheels! These projects are sure to inspire you to create your own decor for a fabulous 4th of July picnic.
* Painted Shutter: Shutter was salvaged and painted with Waverly Chalk paint in Ocean and Lacquer, purchased from Walmart.
* Shabby tassel is 7-1/2 inches long. Made from bandana print calico and cotton muslin, snipped and ripped from 10x15 inch fabric pieces.
Fence finial was salvaged. Styrofoam stars are from Dollar Tree.
* Flag Pillow: Pillow cover is 24x14, 100% cotton osnaburg muslin. Blue field is 5x8 piece of bandana. Stripes are 100% cotton, red with white dots, and white with red dots. Stripes are 2 inches wide and 20 inches long. Flag applique is attached using Heat N Bond Ultrahold double sided iron-on adhesive. White buttons, and seeded pearl lace embellish the field of blue.
* Pinwheels: Made from 8x8 bandana print fabric squares, attached together with Heat N Bond. Pinwheels are glued to BBQ skewers, and embellished with buttons.
