I am not even gonna lie... I am extremely grateful for Sean.. I started my RU-vid last year and I was just all over the place..even the little I knew then, I learnt from Sean.. Life/growth forced me to take a break from it all... I am now coming back to RU-vid, with focus, understanding, and a plan.. All thanks to Sean and a select few RU-vidrs, I don't wanna overload myself with info so I stick to just a number of creators... My content will be public in January.. Been creating for days in preparation, I am now doing it for the right reasons and can't wait to enjoy the marathon.. Thanks to Sean and all members of his team ❤️
I was able to go from 0-1k subs in less than 60 days just by engaging in other channels in my niche, so I would say engaging with others in your niche helps a lot.
i post every once a week.. im trying to level up my skills on editing, being confident on camera and build my YTC.. thanks sean and think media for always helping us reach our dreams!!
You prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know a trick to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost my account password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
RU-vid and Twitch are my primary platforms (RU-vid for uploads, Twitch for streams), with Twitter being my secondary support platform. For a long time I tried to push content out to Facebook and Instagram as well and I'd get so burnt out. These three pillars are going great for me now!
I started my channel before I even had a smartphone or tripod. I used our family's old iPad and put it on a shelf. Now all I use is some thrift store desk lamps, a smartphone, and a 13 dollar tripod.
I wanted to thank you guys for your content! Its really helped me out and motivated me to start my own channel, finally lol. So thank you! Much appreciated!
My main platform is RU-vid. What I think I'm hearing from this and other videos is keep creating content, be consistent, create value and somewhere around 100 videos the quality will increase and your tribe will find you.
Good afternoon, Sean! Thanks for the reminder that "Content is king"... Setting goals for high production values are wonderful, but "content is king"... Period!... ✨😎✨
Think media my sister got to meet you in California. She told me about your Channel you have some excellent points to help channels to grow. We do and share farming show people how things are done on a farm and where your food comes from. And everyday life. I enjoyed this video have a great weekend
I just went over 1K on my paranormal channel. It is very competitive, but plenty of room for all. I'm making better content, focusing on quality and professionalism. Love your videos man, very motivating and educational.
I totally agree with that too. Just start. Some of my voices were taped on an iPhone 7 without even using a microphone. Start with whatever you have and whoever you are. Worry about the next steps later.
I was consistently posting but had to step back due to my schedule, however I do plan on getting back on the bag wagon in 3 weeks and start putting out 2 videos per week...food recipes with me, with me and my daughter, and I might take you guys along my journey to health it’s a tough one and a difficult journey for me so I might be scared to even put the content out...I have hashimoto and I’m hypothyroid so weight loss is difficult but I have seen progress from 225 to 165 currently and maintained for years but I want to get back into it and make small goals till I get to 145. Fear keeps me back from putting out content and the fact that their are so many people doing exactly what I want to do, but I want to say thank you for your videos it’s very inspiring 🙏🏽
Thank you. My RU-vid channel is basically about personal development. I speak on topics that help us strive to be the best version of ourselves. I love singing too. But like you rightly said branding is very important
Sean's tips have been to helpful to grow my channel and to help ranking videos. The competition has been difficult but I want to continue creating content because I love doing it. The road to 1k subs has been long but I believe consistency is key to keep growing!
Thank you Think Media! Your information and tips really helps me a lot in starting my channel and in creating & editing my videos. Thank you so much! For now I'm just editing using my phone but Im doing my best to create a quality content and I'm happy with the progress. Thank you! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
This video was extremely helpful, but I do have to say I disagree on one part. I think it’s ok, and even beneficial to start building your brand on multiple accounts, not just one. Doing this, gives all different people access to your content. There are a lot of people who only watch RU-vid, and a lot of people who only watch Tik Tok. Putting videos out on both platforms, if not more, will automatically push your videos out to those extra people who may not see them on a different platform and that will automatically start making you more popular overall.
Great video Sean! I agree with the keeping within your niche and not uploading 2 different videos (biceps and Minecraft were both used as examples) that are not a part of your niche. I upload mostly on RU-vid because it is fun for me and it is something I am passionate about! I post daily vlogs with pop culture references! There is valauable messages, and entertainment in them! I'm almost at the 4 month mark of uploading videos on a consistent basis! (started August 17, 2019)
Great video Shawn! I so wish I lived even remotely close to Las Vegas so that I could meet up with you guys and all of those entrepreneurs. Hopefully someday I'll make it out that way from out here in the east coast. Awesome reminders, especially the one about strategy. I know I have formulated some sort of strategy but I need to have dedicated time to actually holding that in and making sure it's on point. My brother and I each started a channel around the same time And we've definitely noticed some awesome growth with his channel because of the networking events he's gone too. That's something I haven't taken into consideration or focused on but it's something I'm working on incorporating into my strategy as well. Reaching out into the community of the niche that you're in is so key.
I use my iPhone 7 and I even edit everything on it and it is just so much fun! 😁 I post 1x a week a recipe video and every second week a vlog style food related video. Hope to increase on all one day! But I want to build up the habit slowly. ☺️
thank you I really enjoyed watching this. And your question about much i post, I post content every day, but this week i'm having a lot less people watching my videos.
I'm going to have so much knowledge by the time I finish reading and watching videos about growing my channel. I hope I can implement them well and will update how it goes for me. Thank you for your help!
This video helped me put things into perspective! A lot of valuable info here, sometimes you just gotta press the record button and do your best! If anybody wants to watch my videos, I do storytimes, they’re pretty funny in my option Thanks Sean!!
Awesome video and well presented! I do struggle with my own channel and also I struggled (past tense) with just posting a video until I actually posted 1 and automatically I continued. Now I am sort of new to RU-vid and no I don’t have much subscribers as yet, but I just have to keep going! Happy holidays all...
Ok see you there! Thank you so much! I’ve learnt so much from you and your team and hoping to meet you some day, just to say “thank you!!!!!” In person!
QUESTION OF THE DAY ⚡ What is number one social media platform you are focusing on right now? How often do you post? ****** 🎯 Learn my 3-steps for RANKING VIDEOS on RU-vid in this video 👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_6U-4L4apoY.html
I love that you referenced John Kohler! His info on his channel okraw was transformational for me. You are so right about content being waaay more important than production value. I've seen so many low-quality production videos do amazingly well because the content is very helpful. As an artist, it's hard to remember that sometimes. Thanks for the valuable content as usual!
3 times a week - that's awesome. Did you see Sean is doing a new webclass today? I know he is going to be covering his strategy on how to get traction. It's not going to be here on RU-vid. Its a live class he's teaching. :) 2020VideoSecrets.com
One of your best vidio. Thank you. I felt into the trap and bought stuff. Have of it I do not know how to use it. My Nikon d5300 I spend a lot of $$ still do not know how to make videos. I'll take your advice and will just move forward using my new Note 10+ do vidios in the raw. COPPA is scary. Please let us know more about that. Thanks
This was pretty dope to watch.. I don’t know how well this applies as a singer-songwriter performing musician. Do you a have a video is relation to that?
Hi, Sean! I'm thinking of downloading your book, RU-vid Secrets, but it seems you're giving out so much free advice on your channel (thank you!!). Can you tell me what's in your book that you don't cover in your channel? Thanks so much for all your excellent advice!
- The 7 C's of RU-vid Success - Case Studies & Examples of how people got succeed on RU-vid - 10 different ways to make money on youtube The book will also work on your mindset and help you take action and build momentum.
FACEBOOK is my natural "go to" ... and where i flow best. Though, I KNOW (they say) I should really be doubling down on IG, TikToc n LinKedIn. I gonna turn up my effort! And I THANK YOU, Sean, for dropping these "GOLD BRICKS OF wisdom!" I'm ON it!
Sean, I love your stuff, I subscribed a while ago! However I was hoping to hear some things about tiktok based on the thumbnail and I don’t recall seeing anything on it. (I felt clickbaited) Lol. Can you do a video in the future on it? I’m starting to use it to grow my channel and would appreciate your input.
Hey. I have a question if someone answers: is there a way to create an outline, and can I do it by including a variety of things?? If I’m a musician I want to share music but I also want to share who I am and do speeches and talk about myself and current situations and relate to others by talking about other things I care about such as martial arts and fashion. Can I show my path in these fields as well as I progress?? Is it okay to share 3 or 4 related things on one place? Or no. I see people achieve fame because they aren’t fake, and they mean things deeply to the point that they don’t lie and they just speak their hearts out. That is, after all, how you reach people who relate to you, which makes your work more meaningful. Hope someone can help with this, I don’t know if I can post music while updating my life, emotions, fashion, and hobbies/other updates on my same page. Someone lmk pls it would mean a lot
Well, that's great. I just thought of answering 'cause I think I have something to say. However I have to experience otherwise in any of those. But what I think is you should make your content around yourself, so that you can't interconnect every one of the things you are interested. I'd suggest that your brand is more of a vlog. I hope this has helped.
