Nice! These exercises definitely looks simple enough for me to try. It is quite frustrating not being able to stretch enough, especially while climbing some gnarly slab routes and you need just 1k for 50k subscriber 👏🦾

Right! I feel like flexibility is often overlooked but it helps so much in climbing. Eeeek, excited to celebrate 50k :)

I'm glad these exercises feel in reach, without feeling dangerous, that's exactly want we want!

I love these exercises! I kept coming back to this video because comparing to other flexibility/mobility routine this one let me feel the most secure / safe and I can feel certain I am doing it correctly easily. Good job on that!

Do you have any addition advice for the leg lifting one? I don’t really feel much with tht one.
@isaT
@isaT Год назад
Did you do it with holding the foot in hour hand, or the way Hannah did it? Bc I found it much harder to grab the foot instead of just lifting the leg up
@erikcarp9359
@erikcarp9359 Год назад
@@isaT I’ll try that as well, thanks for the response
@flexibilitywithfran
@flexibilitywithfran Год назад
Hey Erik! this is Fran! I guess if you don't feel much it may mean your hip flexors are quite strong already. try and work with holding your foot or extending your knee fully if bent knee doesn't suit you.
@kukkosan1045

Would you recommend doing these exercises before or after a bouldering session?
@Dave1507
@Dave1507 Год назад
Since it doesn't say "warmup" or "cooldown" stretch in the title, I guess this would be something for an off day, as part of a longer stretch or yoga session. At least that's how I percieved it.
@badsn
@badsn Год назад
definitely not before. to my knowledge, static and or intense stretching should not be done pre workout. I would do it after or several hours before going bouldering. Or on off days.

@@badsn Hey! Fran here :) I agree with you I would recommend doing them separately from your climbing session, but if you don't have time you can lower intensity and do them either before or after climbing sessions. before if your mai focus is flex training, after if your main focus is climbing. hope this makes sense :) check out my new RU-vid channel as well!
