In this video I will tell you about 4 free software which I use to create online courses. I am a big fan of open source and free software and if we can put some efforts searching and learning an open source software, we actually have no need to buy any paid software ever. This is because for every commercial software, a free or opensource alternative is always present. Since the community of opensource software is usually small, we might have some difficulty learning that software but there is an opensource software for every single purpose you can think of.

Handbrake is a very good video compressor. I am using it currently to compress my online video lesson for my teaching. I've used Audacity as well. Only OBS and Hitfilm I haven't use. Good lesson.

For that you need a green cloth behind you when recording then you use chromakey filter while editing to remove background

I'm from India and an English language trainer by profession. I like to create a voice over ecourse. I have a long list of questions for you if you don't mind answering: 1) Is it just adding voice over to PowerPoint slides? I want my ecourse to be viewed on a smartphone as wells as a computer. 2)Does the PowerPoint with voice over work Inna smartphone? 3) Should I create a website with payment recieving option to sell my ecourse? Does free websites like Wix and wordpress support receiving payments? 4) Can we sell the course through a Facebook page? (Hope FB page supports payment option) 5) If I don't have a website can I send the ecourse through an email and receive payment to my account? (I can offer phone in support for that) Can we use google.slides to create ecourse free? Is there any problems of copyright if I use google slides for creating e-commerce and selling it

1. I would suggest voice over on google slides because that is easy. 2. I mostly use google slides but powerpoint ‘should’ work 3. I would suggest use Teachable.com to host your courses. You can set wordpress but it takes time and money 4. Not sure about facebook i hate that platform 5. Google slides are free to use but i am not a good person to ask about copyright

Handbrake is the best I could find. It "should" effect some quality but that is not "noticeable"

Sir, I have a question...! let say you start the screen recorder like OBS and when you finish with your recording and all, So to use Audacity for the sound you just copy the sound in a video editor and past in audacity to play with... that's how its working or I am wrong...?

Faizan you are recording using OBS and your webcam mic such as Logitechc920 + at the same time you record a good quality mic such as TASCAM, then you put the audio of TASCAM in Audacity and raise level, then you match it with OBS audio in hitfilm then you remove OBS (logitec) audio and keep TASCAM audio in hitfilm

However, I want to create or convert the course to be online. I'm looking at creating animations or cartoons sort of with various colors that the young age can relate to. So you first screen record and then you do the vocal seperatly and you syncing together?

But you record sound in two devices low quality webcam and high quality eg Tascam then you synch and delete the webcam sound

Use a green cloth behind you when recording then in hitfilm click on effects->greenscreen then drag the greenscreen to your video clip the bg will be removed now put whatever you like as BG

Use Canvas Instructure or Vimeo. But you cannot protect 100 % against downloads in Vimeo.

Try Installing Moodle LMS and use BigBlueButton for free hand writing. If you want to have interactivity, you can use HTML5 in Moodle.
