If i have the funds to do so when the Kickstarter goes live (or before it ends). I will be buying the pdf, but whether or not i will be able to back the Kickstarter, that remains to be seen. However, their VIP discord server only costs 1 dollar and that i have already done.
To be honest the focus he's gotten recently is more about Warlow's lordship over Fallowheart, which is one of the most precariously placed cities in Ostoya, geopolitically speaking. That said, the new Grim Hollow Transformed core books will explore many cities and court members throughout Ostoya (and beyond)!! 🦇🧛
Hey would it be possible for a Artificer to use Shadow Steel, Soul Gems and glass. To build a trophy case that can imprison and display, a Demilich? I was thinking the Soul Gems would keep it alive but the Shadow Steel would prevent becoming powerful enough to escape. The glass would make it a trophy case a high level professional Monster Hunter would own. The Demilich could still be able to talk but it could not use enough magic to let it's self out. The Monster Hunter could use the Demilich for info, advice amusement. If the Monster Hunter or anyone that has access to the Demilich, is weak to persuasion. Can be corrupted or persuade to open the case... . I think it is a fun plot hook, I was wondering if it would brake the game in anyway? . Thank you for your time . Sincerely Chad Polk
Hi, big fan of GH here! I have a question, kind of a 2 parter - is the Courtly Favor adventure scenario meant to be an intro to the Fallowheart campaign idea that you discussed in a previous video? And are there plans to make the Fallowheart campaign a full fledged adventure book? You did a great job explaining how it could be done by a DM with a bit more time than me, but I love to buy all that work done for me haha! It's a great idea!
The Courtly Favor could be an intro to the Fallowheart adventure, definitely! While we’re focussed on our Grim Hollow Transformed Kickstarter currently, so no active plans to make the Fallowheart adventure into a full book, we do pay close attention to what people like from our RU-vid content and what books folks are asking we make next.
@@GhostfireGaming Very cool, thanks for the quick reply. You really did supply enough info in that video for me to pick up the reins and go, I just wanted to know if a book was in the works before I started prepping. Honestly the idea could be reskinned in any number of other ways with what you've provided anyway. Looking forward to further darkness! Cheers!
Great stuff, I liked Grim Hollow's Tavern of the Lost that I did a review of it on my blog. I like running non-cookie cutter stuff for my West Marches game.
I feel like the Bubbling Duchess's parentage would be a fantastic way to explore more of the faye aspects of the Charneault Kingdom, especially if it involves the Dark Mists and how that might affect partial faye like the Duchess. As for the Castinella story, I really like the martyr ending, especially if the players did the morally good acts, those individuals could become the player characters a few years later (like a small time skip) who have maybe aligned with the Thaumaturge to avenge this injustice.
We definitely want to springboard folks imagination and further adventures in Etharis, possibly down the paths you're describing! It's great to see them working as intended.
These all sound great. I am curious, are you just making them for the 2024 version or will they also be available as 2014 version? I know the two are very similar from what ive seen, but i still wanted to ask:)
Wow this sounds so good. If I wouldn't make my storries on my own I would absolutly buy these books. And you are very very good at making the storry you tell imersive.
One thing I always do in dark fantasy mysteries is have no actual "guilty person" pre-defined. I have clues, and suspects, but the players never know if they actually convicted or pardoned the actually guilty person. Just like in the real world, nearly everyone claims to be innocent and the detectives hope they got the right person. But they're never totally sure. Hat tip, Brindle Bay.
5:50 Damn it, Ben, I was already composing the comment post in my head about how this was the third one of these videos that was making me cry out, "Write and publish these adventures! This is exactly what I was hoping for in adventures in Etharis!" Only this time, you were prepared for the howling RU-vid commenter!
