Your father is a very noble man, Nick. A distinguished man, too. It will be interesting to see if your hair goes like his in the coming decades.

I cut my dads hair. It’s an honor lol.

I think clipping his hair to the same length as his beard would be the way to go. I think that’s how Bruce had his in the photo

A tapered haircut would work well I think. No.2 on top and then have it shorter on the back and sides

Hi Nick! You should ask your dad, to try Brb. Serum and Shampoo. I'm 64 years old, and with the combined use of Brb. serum and shampoo over a period of 13 months a have recovered at least 60%% of my hair

1. Slow down with the clippers. Fine thin hair tends to get pushed away easily. 2. Be gentle and watch out for the sensitive areas around the ears 3. Never rush through the haircut and be sure to check the contours for missed or longer hairs. 4. Use a small pair of haircutting scissors to sharpen the contours. If I ever do make it to Nashville, I guess I could give you some lessons, so that you could make some more money as a part time barber.

A 4 - guard haircut is 4/8", OR 1/2 ," correct?! I can never remember if each number is 1/8" or 1/4". I'd ask Nick, BUT WE ALL KNOW he HATES Math!! 😀 PS I HOPE that you get To Tennessee, as that'd be a GREAT video.👍
@FlatMax2
@FlatMax2 5 лет назад
Charlie S. Each “number” represents approx. 1/8 “ or 3 mm in theory. This only applies to the plastic guards used on many clippers. In my own experience, the guards produced by the different manufacturers don’t always cut the same length. This is why I like to know the length and not the number - especially, if someone can’t remember whether to multiply by 1/8 “ or 1/4 “. Detachable metal blades have a similar, yet different numbering system. So in theory, the #4 that Nick used should have been 12 “ or 12 mm. Like with all clippers, the guards and blades can only cut the hair that they can reach. It is important to manoeuvre the head into a position in order to remove the hair to the desired length. This is especially important at the nape of the neck to bend the head forward. Hmmmh....uhhh...ohhh, a video? I never thought of that. That’s a scary thought!

@@FlatMax2 Thanks for the info- I appreciate it. Your insights here are valued as you're kinda the site's professional consultant!! And ,yeah, if you make it to Tennessee, YOU NEED to DO a video of you cutting Nick's hair!! And... YOU could "accidentally" trim Off One of Nick's eyebrows 👓 in The process. 😀 Nick: If it improves my number of views,I'm ALL for it!!
@FlatMax2

Charlie S. Wait a minute...what do you have against Nick’s eyebrows? He’d look very strange with just one!

Grow it back Pops. Don't cut your hair for about 18 months. Keep the beard.
