The first pebble art started to look to me like maybe you were going to make him fly fishing! Endless possibilities! Loved the paintings of the cups. Such beautiful colors. You are so talented, there seems to be nothing that you can't do.

This video was in my Google feed tonight and I just wanted to comment on your creative ideas. Wow. Everything was fantastic but when you started painting the background on the pears and the pears just came to life, I was STUNNED. What a great picture!!!
Quel talent ! !!! Tu es incroyable ! Bravo ! J'adore toutes tes œuvres ! Grosses bises ❤❤😚😚😚
Pebble Wall Art...brilliant idea! Watching those pears(one of my favorite fruits!) literally come to life ...luv! I'm so happy to have found you, Christina. Such a great inspirational creative teacher and I am thankful to have found you through Kacha' ☺ p.s. your kitty katter is sooooo cute..and those eyes! 😻

I loved all your projects. I am getting ready to go see my grandkids in Florida and I think we will make some seashell, pebbke and driftwood art. I loved seeing your sweet puppies enjoying life as they should. We have a redush poodle doodle and ahe looks very mich like your xute boy. She plays the exact same way too! ❤️♥️
Fantastic 👏 I also love your pets! 🐕🐈 Gabriel and Pascal are so cute together. What is your other dog's name? Dimitri is beautiful too. Those eyes 😍 Thank you for sharing 💚 Ps I am working my way backwards through your videos so apologies for comments on older videos as I go 😅
No worries! Have fun with the old videos! I enjoy peoples comments and feedback! His name is Hatley! You will also will know about our other dogs Napoleon and Raphael they both passed away. 🎨🙏❤️
@TheReclaimedHeirloom The subtitles had him as Hadley so wanted to check. The heartbreak of losing our dogs never leaves us but hopefully it is a bit easier having these gorgeous boys around. They are a great bonus of your fantastic videos. I absolutely love the way you edit the sections with Dimitri and the boys 🐈🐕🐕🐕 💚
Hi!! I get them from dollar store or from Michaels craft store. Start off with the inexpensive paint and see if you like it then build your colours from here. It's a nice way to start at the beginning! Have fun!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🎨🙏
Hi Christina, i love the pebble art and have seen examples before, but have not tried it! I need to just go for it! Thanks for the painting lesson, wonderful! 😊 did you just paint the canvas or put gesso on it?
Hi CA yes just go for it!!! It's very easy!!! I just painted over with white, If have gesso, I will use it as well. I ran out of gesso so often I will just use white paint to cover and start over. ❤️🎨🙏
Christina, if anyone has the desire to pick up a paint brush, to canvas , the tips we received this morning are spot on! My senior exam in college in painting class was to review my style and discuss the transition. Growth is our life line in life. Your pups are wonderful, thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
Christina, thanks for this week’s inspirations. I just finished teaching yesterday so I can start doing some projects. That final pear was my favorite. You just amaze me with you talent. 💕💕💕💕
All I can say it WOW!! You have so much talent. It is amazing work. You should have a gallery to show case your art. Love the pups in the video's. The peddle rock art is so cute, looks so good. get tray idea. Can't wait to see the sail boat art for my hubby. Maybe you could do a video on that too. It the amazing video's coming. Thank you ❤🦋🍐
What a lot of fun in this video 🎉 the shadow boxes were so charming and I am so fascinated with your canvas work…you do make it seem like we can do this! Thank you for your inspiration ❤
Oh my goodness Christina, I’m SO impressed & SO happy to see all of these paintings!!! AmaZing!!! The pears, the mugs & dishes - ALL beautiful! You make it look so easy & FUN. Thank you for the inspiration💗
Dear Christina, you are thriving, where you live, with you fur babies and what you are creating. You look so content and happy! Thank you for you inspiring artworks! Thank you for showing Dimitri. Love your pups. ❤️🇿🇦
I shared the shadow boxes to my daughter. She makes small furniture pieces with wood, signs, decorative gates, etc. I thought she might be interested. I will try my hand at painting pears I love both versions, one is classic & the other quite modern. Thank you.
The pebble art! Christina, you just gave me the perfect excuse (as if I needed one!) to go to the beach. I always find interesting rocks and pebbles (sometimes sea glass, too) at the lakeshore. Now I know what to do with them! Thank you.
You are so talented!! I love the rock shadow boxes. I have seen the rock pictures on Pinterest and thought they were interesting. The ones you picked are the best!! The cup paintings are so nice. You inspire me to try someday!!
Bonjour Christina, Dimitri, Hadley, Pascal et Gabriel. J'espère que vous allez tous bien. J adore tes peintures à l acrylique. Tu as énormément de talent.
It's so good to see you today!! It's amazing to watch you work. I should have gone to art school, but back in the day, there was no such thing to say to middle-class Italian parents. "You mean you're not going to get married and live in the house next door?" That's what's still the norm in the old country (the part we came from), and parts of this one. That's just for girls, though. I have male cousins in Italy who work in art fields. Their sisters are married and take care of their kids. I didn't even dream art as a life for myself. But I made sure my daughter got to do it. I did manage to do what I wanted to do, but it was literary criticism and not art. I didn't get married until I was close to forty, so I had lots of time to get there by myself. When you introduce the idea of play, as you do with all your work, it reinforces my idea that I made the right decision. I'm retired now, but I feel as though I never worked a day in my life because I "played" at every job I've ever had. For me, art is not like that. Now that I have the time, I suffer from it, but yet am compelled. Watching you work on all you do and watching your channel in general is like a long drink at a magic fountain that bestows creative water. Thanks so very much. Keep on keeping on for me and all your subbies.
Thank you so much for your kind words! Yes I understand what you mean about parents, I too did not go to art school and I was always creative and went into dental field (hygienist) and over the years my "playing" with art grew to what it is now. I am so happy that you are being inspired with my projects that's my goal that everyone with tap into their inner play to create home decor items they can be proud to show in their homes. Thanks again for your support!!! Greatly appreciated!! ❤️❤️❤️🎨🙏
Fur babies are thriving and your artistic abilities are flowing from your inner creative soul. Love how you incorporate nature into your home. "Designs by Christina"🤗🏠🐕💕
You are amazing! Forget selling coffee mugs and tee shirts, sell your paintings! I would certainly be interested in the coffee cup paintings for sure! You definitely make it look easy. It's not! There's nothing more intimidating than a blank canvas. I've tried painting over the years and managed to pull off a couple of things I really like, but man, it's hard. I am so uptight compared to you. You've inspired me to try your technique of "keeping the brush moving". You really should do more of these painting videos, then sell the pieces. They are wonderful and having a real painting vs. a geclee' print is so more authentic.
I was curious how Pascale was going to take to Gabriel! So happy they are buds! Do you have an affiliate with Ikea and/or link to the cutting board? Were the HL shadow boxes in clearance? I love the rustic look to them. Very unique. I will see if I can find something similar. Thanks for the great ideas! Since you are on Vancouver Island have you thought about doing a workshop in Seattle? Lots of fun events in the area, let us know if you plan to come down this summer I would love to set up a meet and greet with your PNW fans! ❤ Which includes me ! 😊🤣
Thank so much Kim for the kind words!!! I hope to do more work shops in the future!! No i have not affiliate link with Ikea. the shadow boxes came from hobby lobby. Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy today's new video! ❤️🙏🎨
@TheReclaimedHeirloom I look forward to every new video! I plan to try a large canvas painting this summer. Going way out of my comfort zone for sure. You make it look so easy. Cheers 🥂
