I totally dig this with that brown noise. It makes the difference between being able to study and not! Thank you for this post. Also, the length ensures that I will actually get somewhere/something done or accomplished!
As a person with combined adhd, this is the only pomodor kinda video that made me focus in studies...i studied for 3 hrs straight!! Before, i got 61/100 in my first term exam. I'mma update my progress after my 2nd term exam....!!
Thank you so much; these are super helpful for me in nursing school (Time stamps for if you reset intervals when you get distracted like I do): 00:23 Interval 1 50:23 Break 1 1:00:25 Interval 2 1:50:38 Break 2 2:00:39 Interval 3 2:50:53 Break 3 3:00:55 Interval 4 3:51:08 Congrats on finishing your study block! (Proud of you!)
heyy!! i'm a 12th grader and i'll also be pursuing aviation after my high school is over;) in a few month's time i'll be preparing for the cpl exams aswell, good luck to us :"")
It actually works. I don't have an idea how, but it IS. Maybe it's self-inflicted, but that doesn't change the fact that my productivity and concentration are actually increasing
I recently learned that brown noise helps people with ADHD to focus, and I guess they were not wrong. I managed to study for 2 hours straight today after so long. Thank you for uploading this!
I have ADHD and it so hard for me to focus and I easily got distracted. I watched and tried other pomodoro with noises but this one is the BEST🎉 I focused too much that I forgot I was on break. HAHAHAHA thank you! Please continue to create more ❤
This video is amazing! The brown noise provide just enough audio pollution that I can ignore my surroundings without getting distracted by any music and the 50 minute timer is a perfect block of time to do some focused work.
This music is amazing! It really helped me stay focused and remember what I was studying. Normally, it takes me forever to study 4 chapters, but with this music, I breezed through them in just 4 hours. I'm loving it!
i was unable to study because of loudspeaker near my home..i gave a police complain they did not take any action..i have exam soon so I am here and this is helping thank you so much
You guys can fucking focus for 50 minutes straight? MULTIPLE times?! 50 minutes was my life long record. I only pulled it off once and was so proud of myself... damn... I always thought it was my ADHD that stood in my way, but now that I see how many people can easily deal with 50 minutes brackets... it really IS me that's not enough.
Don't stress out honey, I struggle with that too. What I do is, whenever I notice my focus deviating, I instantly stand up, get out of my study space, take a sip of water reminding myself what I have to do and then without second thought, go back to work.......try it.
Don't worry, most of us are probably driven by a sense of urgency :D I have to hand in a 15+ pages paper in 7 days and I had just about 1 page of text until today. :D With that pressure, of course I can focus for 50x4 ... its not because we get our shit together better than you, time is just literally running out and we got no choice
Another advice is to keep a white paper and a pen and whenever something pops in your mind while studying write it on the paper and promise yourself you are going to check it later, it is so helpfull @@rekhagalani6033
Don’t stress if you can’t do 50 minutes of focus time! It can be a lot. I’m planning on making a video with shorter intervals! I’d be happy to take requests for specific interval times… let me know what would work for you! 🥰
this might be the only pomodoro helps me focus. normally i got distracted in every 5 sec but i finished this without getting distracted. this is the first time i listen to brown noise and i think its a miracle. thanks a lottt.
4 sessions completed session 1,2,and3 studied session 4 reorganized my documents and files on laptop tysm this vid was so helpful gonna play it tmrw for my studying sessions but hope u make a longer vid like with 8 or 10 hours💗🩵
Hi!..I have Hyperactive ADHD and this helped me soo much Even though I disassociated a bit this really made me focus on my work instead of procrastinating. Love your vids!☺
This has seriously helped me sooo much! I should’ve done this sooner. This video is actually saving my grades! I love the brown noise, too. It’s perfect!
I was surprised by how helpful the brown noise was! :O I really appreciated the breaks and the whole interval thing. And also beeng able to see the count down :) Thank you!
I never really believed in this kind of stuff, but it actually worked. I functioned like a normal human being for the first time in years (besides meds lol).
It's 2 am and i am in the first break. I have always wanted to study listening to music but i always get distracted however this one is the best i was able to complete most of my study using this video. And I am glad that i was able to remember stuff. This video really helped me thanks a lot ♥
working from home and i was feeling burnt out. played this on my second screen and before i realised, its already 5.30pm. i dont know what happened, but this works!! thank you!
This is helping me so much with my Masters assignmentment tonight!!! I am having such a hard time staying on task!!! Only sucks that it is on RU-vid because I got lost in scroll town on my way to it almost every time!
Glad to hear it’s helping! ❤️ If you use a chrome browser, there’s an extension called “Distraction Free for RU-vid” which removes video suggestions from RU-vid’s home page and side bar. I’ve used it for a while and it’s quite helpful to avoid scroll town :)
I have exams in 5 days, and as someone who has problems concentrating on simple tasks, this has been such a help for me. Thank you! I'm trying to be as consistent as I can :)
idk how this works so well but this was genuinely the most productive ive ever been 😭 i got so much work done using this that i even made the breaks 5 mins instead of ten cause i wanted to keep working 😭 tysm for this video 🤍
It's being my favorite for around 3 months! Great work with the intervals, the notes and the little advices. The sound is also the only one that allows me to focus very well.
Hey friend, LOVE what you are doing here. Such important work - you are effectively helping thousands of people to find flow states, including me. I educate people on how to create flow rituals and on the science behind flow states (so they can get it more repeatably and reliably) and I will definitely be referring my clients to your channel. THANK YOU! Feel free to HMU if you ever wanna chat or collab. I don't post much yet as Ive got to much in-person and creating to do still (Im writing a book) but you can find me on any of my other socials super easy. Take care!
I should add that I have a few tips/tricks and 'flowstate' educational videos on my channel if you've never known the scientific definition. It's not nearly nice as yours, but I throw stuff up I think everyone should have access to knowing. Hopefully its not too boring.
Ok last one lol. I got so excited seeing what your doing for people here, I thought this might be helpful to your audience - I'm a FlowState Researcher and Flow Strategist. There is TONS of research currently being done in this field but here are the highlights of why everyone should pay attention to their own flow states: - McKinsey found people to be 500% more productive - get a weeks worth of work done in 1 days time! - DARPA research found people were 490% better at skill acquisition / LEARNING.. Ahem... for you college kids! - U of Sydney found a 430% increase in creative problem solving...(anyone have a test coming up?) Also you are 100% HAPPY by definition due to the neurochemistry happening. Flow is your brain on a cocktail of these blissed out chemicals: Dopamine, Serotonin, Norepinephrine, Anandamide, and sometimes Oxytocin ( The More You Know 💫) Hope that helped someone in this comment section unlock all kinds of awesomeness. Lets Flow, Baby! 🦄
Aw that’s so cool, thanks so much for your comments and for sharing that info on flow state! It’s definitely a very interesting topic that I’d love to learn more about. I’ll check out your content! 💙
have subscribe to your channel way back and I honestly used this video one a week early in the morning for my work .. thank you this is very inspiring video !
I'd love to have the exact same brown noise in 90min intervals! Would be so happy if you could create that as well. It is difficult to find the exact sound that works for focusing for me... but I'm always frustrated if I'm not done after 50min. I guess my tasks tend to be longer.
Noted - Thanks for the request! I totally understand, sometimes I’m frustrated by being interrupted by the bell mid-focus too 😅 I’ve put this on my list for future videos 💙
