I've been carrying a Ruike P801 for a year now and it has served me very well. For the price it is well above many more expensive knives. I feel you get more than what you pay for.
So. I havent even gotten 30 seconds into this video, but i had to comment in this rockin intro music. I felt like i should have been getting ready to go to an 80s jazzercise class, or watching anime battle scene. Carry on sir!
I just bought a P852-B yesterday (10/30/2021) and I bought my first Ruike last June. A P121-G. I love both. I also have a P841-L, a P155-W and a P138-W. Great knives.
Totally agree with you on the hussar model being a great food prep knife. That's what I use mine mainly for. And my p801 I use as my EDC 👍 (From Dave in New Zealand)
Another great video Taylor. The "Cylindrical Bars" are roller bearings. Round balls would be ball bearings. Now you know. And knowing is half the battle.
Lol that music, makes me want to watch an old school Stallone movie 😂 I don’t mind the Ruike knives, I own a few of them and edge retention although is ok are still decent quality and work well. Great video by the way, long time EDC / knife lover, brand new subscriber 👍
I've had the 121 and the 138 for a couple years now and I do carry them ! No problems and no complaints. Ditto on the front flipper, I don't like them either.
P852 looks fantastic. The one problem I have with budget knives is I always find myself asking, why would I recommend this to someone over the Ontario Rat in D2?
I have P135 and it's a bit heavy. I think I will stick with (t)rusty Opinel No 10 forever, I think I have it for 20 years already and it's lightweight, it's big enough and it's easy to sharpen.
I have the Hussar. One of my favorites. And yeah, great in the kitchen. My clip bent so I removed it. But the blade geometry makes it so effective for so many tasks. The flipping action is smooth like butta. I might buy a second one just because. Also have a great appreciation for Fenix. I have had two 35s, a TK11 and now a TK20R. About 1000 lumens and a USB rechargeable function. Why wouldn't you? It isn't lightweight but not everything in an edc needs to be.
I've been looking for a good review on Klecker Stowaway tools, but no one has them! Is that something you'd want to review? I'd like to know if they're any good.
It's not a rip. It might take inspiration from Zero Tolerance, which is fine. But blatant rip-offs are not okay. As far as I've seen, Ruike knives are all original designs.
