As Noovember 2023 comes to an end, we're trying 4 quick and easy ramen hacks! I mean could almost be considered a food abomination, but it will be delicious!

For the first you'll need:
Cup Noodle (I used Shin Ramyun, but you could use any other that you prefer)
An Egg
Make the ramen as per the instructions. Once the noodles are ready, crack an egg and add it on top of the cup noodle. Place the cup noodle into the microwave for a minute to let egg cook.

1 tsp of minced garlic
Shin Ramyun seasoning and vegie packets
1 egg
1 tsp of kewpie mayo
Cook the noodles as per the packet instructions, but leave the soup and vegie packets out. Mix together the minced garlic, seasoning and vegie packets, egg and kewpie mayo together in a bowl and stream in some of the cooking water. Add the noodles and you can either stop here, or if you want it even creamier, add a slice of American cheese and cover for two minutes.
Curry Soup Noodles
Pack of Instant Ramen
Pack of Instant Japanese Curry such as S&B's Golden Curry Roux or House Food's Vermont Curry Roux (we're only using two bullions, but you can't buy them separately)
Make noodles per the instructions on the pack.
Take off the heat and drain about half of the water.
Add 2 bullions of the curry roux
Mix until well combined
Keep in mind this will thicken as it cools, but you may want to add another bullion of roux if you want it extra thick
Baked Cheesy Ramen
2 packets of a cheese noodle (I used Samyang Cheese)
2 - 4 slices of American Cheese
1 Spring Onion
Parmesan Cheese
2 tablespoons of bread crumbs
1 tablespoon of fried shallots (optional)
salt and pepper to taste
Cook both packets of noodles together only using one seasoning packet - hold the cheese packets for a little later.
Once the noodles are almost cooked, remove most of the cooking water (keep around 1/3 of a cup) and add the cheese packets, American Cheese and Spring Onions. You may want to check for seasoning at this stage.
Once well combined, transfer to an over proof dish, and cover with the parmesan, bread crumbs and fried shallots. Bake in a 200 degree Celsius oven for 10 minutes. Once cooked, let stand for 10 minutes and serve!
