Yep. I watched a car being completely engulfed in flames on i 90. Literally drove past it just as the fire dept got there, and the could feel the heat inside my car from 4 lanes away with the windows up and air vents closed. Been looking all day to see if there was some kind of coverage of it. Nope. Nothing. Not a peep. So strange.

I'm so tired of this being a regular occurrence. We call ourselves the greatest country on earth but we can't go to school or the movies or a concert or church or the grocery store or queue in line without possibly dying of gun violence. Why are we ok with this?

One root of the problem is that parents have not taught their children invaluable life skills and principles. Some of these are; human life is sacred, respect for all living things, accountability for your actions, having a strong work ethic, do not let others take advantage of you, and that we are here to help each other. Then, some parents are too busy and tired to watch over and discipline their children who are busy playing violent video games and hanging out with the wrong crowd. This is a recipe for DISASTER!!
Everything you said might be true, but it might be true in other countries, too that don't have mass shootings after mass shootings for decades. There is a unique difference in the USA. The permissive gun culture in the USA that teaches people to use guns to deal with your grievances.

Happens here in Birmingham everyday and sadly this bad every week it seems. Always in the bad part of town with a certain group. Prayers to all families that lost a loved one.
