So there was rain. I keep seeing storm stories on this. It's not easy to see a rain wrapped tornado. I drove in town during a rain wrapped tornado where I live. Was trying to get home from work. I had to find a way home through alleys and different streets I wouldn't normally take home. That's because there were trees and power lines down everywhere I turned. When I opened my car door you could hear the howl of the wind. A friend was with me and we parked in the alley because 2 huge pine trees were bending over so far that the tops were touching the ground. Come to find out wind speed was 150 mph. I'm certain there was a rain wrapped tornado really close to my driving path.
