this is the first solid piece of PVP advice online that will give new players tangible results. I wish someone showed me this 4000 hours ago. Im actually doing the whole alternating line while strafing, that is great muscle memory!
Haha, this video is a hip-fire revelation! 😂 I never realized how much I've been neglecting my hip fire skills until now. Time to start practicing daily so I can show those pesky campers who's boss! 💥 I'll be the John Wick of Tarkov soon enough, taking out enemies left and right without even aiming down sights. Thanks for the tips and the entertaining demonstration - my wall is going to have so many bullet holes, it'll look like abstract art! 🎨🔫 #HipFireHero #TarkovJohnWick #NoMoreCampers
@@ChucklesTV Here's a video idea. I'm having an awful time with NVIDIA GeForce experience. I have to reinstall every couple of weeks because it gives me some error and stops working. I've googled and can't find a solution. What do you use to record?
Oh 100% use OBS, I record while streaming as well. So obs let's you stream at a certain quality then you can record at a much higher quality of you like. And it's also easy to use say your CPU to stream and GPU to record using OBS. There are probably ideal settings for recording but I just record at source res (1080p 60fps) and as high a bitrate as I have space for, so 30k. But higher bitrate is better. It's really easy to set up!
Hey man, maybe you have an tip for me. I struggle so hard with hip fire it’s balls. So when I move my gun goes left right and I never hit where I want because the hip fire is not where it is when I stand. How to combat this?
Two suggestions: First, try slapping on 3 NcSTAR blue lasers so you can clearly see how your gun is swaying and practice shooting one spot while strafing, once you have it down with lasers on try taking them off and switching to IR Torch. Second, when changing directions instead of only switching from D to A, instead perform a little semi-circle and tap D W A or D S A as it feels like there is less intertia applied and its easier to remain accurate while changing directions. I had another thought but I forgot it while writing the above :-( If I remember I'll update this, and if you like I can make a clip showing the above examples
You don't use a laser? Or you use an IR one to make it less obvious to others? Or your just don't need it, (but i assume you are using something for the buffs). Helpful vid btw super nice
Yep I mostly use IR because I find lasers distracting! For me it doesn't matter if other people see my tactical devices or not because they generally hear me stomping around and crouch somewhere well in advance
I bet you get reported alot.. Shooting into every corner seems like a waste of money when using $1500 roubles a shot. I think the only real information here is that being aggressive and pushing targets hiding in corners tends to result in more wins basically because Desync doesn't let you see the pusher in time. Shooting at noises is stupid idea unless you dont care about people knowing where you are. I suppose these tips are good for the Chad types who hold shift+w but for people who don't want to play Cod.. Stankrat would be better to learn from.
Yeah absolutely! With prefiring through objects it definitely burns the ammo and I only do it when I have a sizeable bank but I'd much rather spend say 30-40extra bullets a raid and lower the risk of losing a 300k access card + 800k kit. and you're right I don't care about people knowing where I am xD stankrat is definitely a better teacher of a slower playstyle than me haha
i really hate jumping pvp as anti jump pvp player video is still good and shows how people can pick you and shoot so you know what to expect in real pvp
Yeah imagine just walking out A site dust 2 with an AK that has the same accuracy while moving as it does while standing still xD Thats almost what Labs can be like against good players
Short answer, try 0.25 with 800 dpi and adjust from there. Long answer, go down the rabbit hole with people who actually know what they are talking about when it comes to sensitivity: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Xn4vjNuiJvw.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FLHEn2U7CVw.html
It must be on, you can easily test for yourself by mag dumping a wall with lazer enabled and disabled, shoot a new patch of wall per mag dump so its easy to compare
@@ChucklesTV think you just got to change your noise gate because its filtering you out for a moment till it picks you back up and when you are overlaying your twitch clips the audio from that drowns you out so it's a good idea to check levels post processing. Not a pro by any means but i've messed around with this stuff in the past.
nice combat tips there! just go with the easy oldschool method: shoot a wall from medium distance and physically mark the spot on your monitor with a dot. (Dont mark the center of your screen, when ADS because your "crosshair" slightly changes position to be higher and a bit left because when you ADS, you put your weapon up and to the left a bit, bringing it to the real center of the screen.) - Yes, its not 100% accurate, especially while you move because of the weapon shake, but its a huge help for hipfire I remember times back in CS 1.6 where i lots of people that trick to easily chain-noscope enemies with AWP
For sure, the main downsides of the SA-58 is ammo availability (M61 + M993 are a pain to get) and that you can't get good ergo (which lets you ADS quickly) with also good recoil. So what most players do is mod for low recoil and just cqc hipfire and rarely ads. Aside from that it's an amazing gun and my most used before recoil was nerfed
I respect the fact you don't use a 16:10 ratio like a lot of the other online sweaties. Feels cheap to me. At least it doesn't appear you do in this video. Nice one BTW. Tarkov is 100% a hipfire game
Haven't even considered trying 16:10, I just feel like other aspect ratios look weird on stream whenever I see them. I did try 4:3 in cs ages ago but it didn't feel like it helped
@@ChucklesTV yeah, I get the concept behind it, but it looks stupid and Tarkov is too clunky for a small advantage like that to help that much anyway. Sure, it helps spotting and vertical visual recoil, but they've done so many recoil changes that I think it's pointless. Looks about as stupid as people that turn their game into a box of crayons with post FX.
Dope video man, I was practicing Pointfire by going into offline raids and just dealing with AI and trying to improve, but these drills I feel are gonna make me much for effective in practice, cheers bud.
Thank you so much Chuckles! I can’t believe I didn’t find you sooner! A quick question: in another vid you mentioned you liked using the GSSH headsets early wipe. What do you recommend since the audio changes?
Thanks mate! I don't know what the best headset is at the moment as they are messing with the audio extremely often this wipe. Audio on Labs is a buggy mess and no headset seems to help. Best advice I can give you is pick one that you know you can use (rebuy easily) all the time as it will be easier to get used to identifying guns, gunshot distances, footstep distances, etc and keep an eye out for rigorous audio testing videos. Also I just run gssh still because I'm used to the audio profile but most people hate them :-)
One thing that should be mentioned is that when strafing to the right the barrel of the gun moves to the left, so you need to pull your aim to the right more than you normally would and vice versa.
Yeah and if you are purely just tapping A and D the gun sways out but the problem is I spent weeks trying to master countering the sway while changing direction and couldn't xD so instead what I forgot to mention is I do a little semicircle movement when changing directions.
There's definitely a small adjustment! Probably like 95% of the skill is transferable between guns then you need to practice to adjust for the different recoil / fire rate / gun model (if you're aiming based off of where the barrel is pointing). It would be an easier adjustment if you were say running ncstar on every gun as it's brighter than the future of bill gates children.
@mecesmam59 I'll make a video on it but just practice controlling the first ~10 bullets of any full auto spray, contrary to popular belief the first 10 are more accurate now than pre-patch and most fights are decided within that time frame. If the fight isn't decided within that time then you and your enemies have bigger concerns than point fire accuracy
Factory is goated, if you just spammed factory without an optic you'd master hipfire so fast! I've died thousands of times on factory but not everyone is okay with losing that many kits xD hence the offline exercises.
Monitor Crosshair does not communicate with game, may not be 100% accurate Monitor Crosshair may look over-the-top huge and ugly, lines can be so fat you can see the target in the distance I tested it and found it not helpful
If bsg would let me I'd actually love to duel someone in offlines who was running a crosshair overlay and we both hipfire only, just to see how strong it is!
