to get the 10 year coin all you would have to do is play any cs game once and have it for 10 years. meaning if you owned 1.6 and you barely played it then you would have the 10 year coin once you you bought csgo
One thing I realised about going pro/Semi-Pro: You've got to be able to fully explain why a certain move was successful/unsuccessful, and why you think it should've been done. When I look at my Demos, I am not easily able to explain what I did and Why I did. This is a very important distinction between Newbie-Intermediate players and the Pros/Semi-Pros.
3k elo player here, and i know this is true with noobs because everytime i'm against them they do the strangest shit that literally makes 0 sense and is dumb and it ends up throwing me off guard, but because they got the kill on me they will think what they did is good. < that's a big reason people dont improve
@@mcreturd3357 when you’re silver 4 faceit level 3 ESEA level G and you have better movement then ex-cloud9 members, I went against chaos in a new cup haha
@@plaZ999 sure you have good movement but do you miss the head of a standing target and aim at people's feet? If so work on it and aim somewhere by the chest at least. For me i just gotta work on movement lol
Really great content and drone did a perfect work explaining everything. And guys yes, everything what he is talking is actually happening in the thought progress of a pro player. Obviously those things happen intuitive for the most part but the thought progress is still there. I was about to make a video on my own reviewing demos and commenting them but I saw that those videos will go way too long and I don't wanna bother someone with that. That's why drone gets a really big thumbs up because he kept it as short as possible.
At 1:48, Voo says that he doesn't move while bursting We see that, but look at the health. He was tagged so he couldn't really move and you could see him trying to move. It only goes so slowly and inch by inch Just wanted to point it out there
@@xXPLMCXx Depends on the level of silver, SEs and SEMs are pretty similar but any lower will get raped by a nova (I know this because I've been the silver getting raped by a nova)
I cant believe I havent really thought of using basically supressing fire to move to cover. It's usually something I'd do just to buy time for the team to rotate or to hold the push back (for example shooting in to a smoke)
I found your channel resently and I like how you show your opinion behind knowledge what you have (player and some kind of psihologyst) . ps. when I found your yt channel I was looking for good training routine (because feeling unconsistant a lot, maybe you can mention that. I saw you said ''grind'' but maybe you have idea about nice training routine (ofc it works for some p-pl not all, but for me it would be really interestingly and helpfull. like what trainings is good to doing in long terms, how long etc.). pps. and yes listening pro player was very nice and I absolutly would love to hear more (~10-15mins of he talking about why he doing that and that. I was searching that but was short on the time/bad luck-didnt find). thanks for videos :)
What worked for me is doing aim_botz for about 10 mins and then get into a dm community server for about 30 mins before playing my competitive games. I tried doing that every day for a month and it really improved my aim. Of course that routine is only for aim but it might be something to try out.
Yeah, I recently started the progressive frequency training that long barrel recommended in his video. Too recent to see real progress, but I think it's the right idea for the type of training most people need.
8:47 that peek is actually really bad and i would not suggest anyone do that kind of thing. Especially because of the short inaccuracy after landing but also anyone with decent aim hits that shot because you move veeeery slow there
Olaf der Braune Also don’t ever do that jump on Sandbags at 8:33 without smoking or flashing ct, every decent player that holds that angle will just get rid of you
It works against awpers who hold tight angles, you can jump and strafe so you dont float, if he wide swung the awper woulda gotten an easy kill if he jigglepeeked the awper could get a kill if he prefire both mightve gotten a kill
This is the first and only "movement guide" that isnt the same old rehashed strats that everyone else uses. I've spent a decent amount of time getting back into CSGO and have gotten significantly better at aiming, nading, positioning. those are all simple; "line up here to throw here", "these are strong positions in these common situations", use this workshop map to practice recoil control. I've put the time in and climbed ranks, but I've gotten to the point at LE-LEM where i feel that I am the one being out "moved" my opponents are consistently making their shot easier to hit and mine harder. This is the first video that quantifies (qualifies?) how each player moves different, what they can improve on and why. what is the reason they move like that, what is their intention with those movements and how do they gain info while being a successful entry fragger. Even better we had a pro explain how to clutch in the pro scene where you are highly unlikely to catch someone "out of position" to get an easy kill. Thanks for a great video, subbed and liked.
I wish there were more analysis of drone's type across many competitive games, not just csgo but also things like dota2. It can be very eye-opening for low players with how much detail he's giving. The part where he sprays the CT on rafters as he crouch walks back to cover was really cool and made so much more sense to a silver like me. Also, being able to actually see the example plays is much easier to follow and understand than just running around the map talking theory alone.
You were making a lot of excuses for your own movement, always jiggle peek the top oranges position it also helps if someone peeks out from CT as they are less likely to get the hs. the crouch jump is kinda random in CS so thats fine, shouldnt have jumped into fountain but into the smoke try and push through, from there hold construction 3-5 seconds and then go back to site to clear....
The best CS content i've ever seen are these 4 levels series! Because it illustrates the wrong and right things. Please keep up! I think you can do this 4 levels of other aspects too, like gunfight, decision, economy and team play.
this shit is sick. my first time ever viewing one of your videos. without sounding like i'm full of myself i'm already a well educated/seasoned player but, it's amazing to see people teach game sense as opposed to 'hOw CaN i Aim BeTTeR'.. improvement only comes with practice and this just enforces that point. CS is a lot more than being able to flick your mouse to somebody's head. Big up voo, you gained a sub x
Great video sir. There's a lot to movement many players don't realize, but if you don't mind, I do have some critiques of the game play you used of yourself. I think when peeking from Car towards CT that you should jiggle peek that instead of jumping across like you did. I think the jump across is great for coffins/spoils but for CT it doesn't make too much sense to me. Doing that jump across to peek CT seems bad to me because there could be a player playing close wall while an AWP is holding from CT. I see this many times while playing and in pro play. I don't think what you said was bad, I just wouldn't suggest that as 'advanced' (no offense). Also (sorry fam), but the way you hold coffins with the krieg is very dangerous because if the player is not playing on top of coffins, but on the side then they will be able to see your shoulder from there (they would see even more of you there too cause you were crouched). I think its better to hug the left wall and then wide or jiggle from there. Great video though. I really did enjoy it. I only bring up these things because I would not (most likely) be killed by the way you took CT there. Thanks :) EDIT: Grammar
Movement is something most people don't talk about but is so important. Aim honestly isn't the most important thing out there, there's so much more to it.
@voo CSGO Drone's strafes were pretty insane also I loved his explanation. I am about the same ELO as you but his fast strafes are on another level. I feel like my aim is there but some times my strafe isn't so I miss 1,2 bullets which are the most important. Good video bud keep it up.
I feel like your clip is really misleading because what you classify as “crazy movement to try and get kills” is not being aware ct is smoked after you saw it open and jump krieging
NA pro or EU pro, both are still way better than trash talkers who think they are CS Gods in this comment section. BTW, nice vid and keep helping us get better.
The last game I played was with several 10 yr coiners. They were all in their late thirties, had jobs and very little time in a day to play. They had just been playing for a long time (+- 15yrs). I think a lot of people just aren't as committed as some of the sweatlords.
@Fanatico You are right it is the account that counts and perhaps, owning a CS 1.6 or Source game. I know this because I have a 10 year coin, but haven't owned GO for half of that.
Ive seen this a lot, but i think this is just a lame excuse. A big part of CS is knowing your opponent, so stop crouch spraying in silver games if you keep dying because of it.
@@anuragsenapaty thats not what he's saying. The point is that if you keep crouch spraying and dying because of it, stop doing it. It doesnt matter what the rank is, if you're consistently doing something that gets you killed then stop doing it.
@@liamconnor1166 So what I do is counter strafe side to side and randomly try to throw in a crouch here and there while spraying my usp or glock, when I crouch my enemy aslo spraying at me kills me with a headshot, idk if his aim is good or if he just hits my with luck, I've lately been trying to remove the crouching part and focus more on the strafing.
In conclusion: - adadadadadadad - sometimes you have to do it - professional csgo gameplay is like reading through a phone book and trying to remember all numbers in there. thanks now i have enough confidence for ranked again!
After watching drone play I realized that all those people I meet in my MM games are not cheaters, they are just Rank S ;) He really has an amazing movement and aim, just goes to prove sky is the limit with this game...and I am still parked somewhere on the runway :(
Really like this kind of video, if you decide to do another one maybe play the whole clip once before breaking it down. I feel like it's easier to feel the flow of how it plays out that way.
Thank you for this video Voo. To all of us trying to get better at this game, a video explaining in detail the fundamentals of movement is a Godsend! So thank you again!
I bought GO at release and had immediately the 5 year coin so the 10 year badge is based on when you bought 1.6. I am gold nova, my highest rank was AK and that was during high rank inflation. Now i am gold nova 1. I have 200 hours in 1.6 and 700 hours, total of 900 hours cs playtime meanwhile my friend who is Supreme has 4000 hours played and he bought the game 2014.(didnt even play 1.6). Goes to show how gamers back in the day had sane played gametime, that i throughout from 2005 to 2012 only played cs 200 hours.
