We challenged chefs of three different levels - an amateur, a home cook and a professional chef - to make their versions of waffles. And then we brought in a food scientist to review their work. Which waffles were the best?

Username 606 Level one- if u have around 30-45 mins. Level 2- if u have around 1-2 hrs. Level 3- 1 day for batter to set and 1 day for sauce to make.

I personally think it's interesting to hear their experience backgrounds when they say they've been at it for X amount of years. I found out that Simm Cass had baked all over the world cause of that. 😊

They all look great! Tracy is my favorite level 3 chef, elevated recipes but nothing extra or gaudy. That's what makes her a pro, unlike some of the others that just use hard to aquire ingredients and a GTA mission to make.

Josh The mango Well yes, in a sense. An amateur is not someone who does the bare minimum effort. What I mean is that am amateur just refers to someone who isn’t paid to do what they’re doing, or don’t have a great amount of experience. You could argue that the guy form One Punch is an amateur hero until he joins the professionals. He says here that the level 1 is not an amateur, no? I’m saying that that is not true, because that’s not what being an amateur entails.

As a Belgian, i can say level 3 was the real belgian "luikse wafel" the other ones were like every ordenairy pancake batter turn into waffles (wich we do too so ;) ) Edit: this kind of waffle we also call it a brussels waffle and second of all thank you for the likes!
