4 Long Term FIFA 23 Save Ideas!

The start of a new FIFA is the perfect time to pick a super long save, hopefully even one you can enjoy for all 15 seasons of career mode! Today i've thought of 4 good ideas to help you enjoy FIFA 23 Career Mode long term!
Create the worst possible club & do a struggle to glory
Start with minimum budget
Start with minimum squad stats
Start with oldest possible squad
Start with minimum stadium
Even longer if you put yourself in a semi decent league
Eg make a 0.5 star team, full of 39 year olds, with no budget in the Belgian Pro, Eredivise, or Spanish 2nd division
Will take at least 3 seasons just to be level with the other teams, and another couple to be fighting for the top.
Very long and tough save, but you will be attatched to every single player in your squad.
Pick a team thats in a major city/area and try to sign players only from that Area
Atletic Bilbao is the best option, thats what they do irl
Bayern Munich/1860 but only sign players from Bavaria
Win the Prem with a QPR team made of only London players
Win MLS with Canadian team and 100% Canadian players
Sudtirol & win Serie A with only Austrian and Italian players
Retire a player with a real face and do an RTG
Some good players
Buffon with new Serie B teams
Willy Caballero into League 1 or Championship (🇦🇷Rebuild)
Roy Kent retires and makes a super agressive team rise to Prem like the crazy gang
Diego Godin retires, takes over South American club and heads for Europe after success
Try to win a title in every continent
Could use CFG clubs
Start at Melborne City/Mumbai City
Move to NYCFC
Move to Argentina
Move to Palermo/Girona/Man City
Could also pick a certain letter or colour to keep in common
Only red kits
Only teams starting with letter A
Only teams founded since 1990

MLS Careers. So underrated. I think one of the best career ideas is doing a RTG in the MLS only; Rules: 1. Start at any MLS club, play until you win the cup/community shield more than once (or until you feel like switching teams) 2. Look for jobs, but most likely, get yourself fired, so you get another team in the MLS 3. Do this with as many teams as possible. 4. The catch is, try to do what the other teams are doing right now, sign high quality aging players, or young stars that aren’t getting enough playtime (I.e. Bale, Chiellini, Insigne, Puig, Cucho) By the end, you’ll have a league FULL of actually good teams

I'm doing a German-Turkish save with a defunct club named SV Yesilyurt. I'm restricting myself only to signing German and Turkish players to my Youth Academy.

I like to add the Greek and Cypriot teams to the Turkish League. Such a shame they dumped Olympiacos out of the game

I really wanted to do a French Career Mode so this is what I came up with: CF Révolution Versailles - Start in Ligue 2 - Have a blue, white and red home kit (French Flag Colours) - Only sign French players (have to be born in France) - Sell/Release any non-French players. - Youth Academy Scouts in France and/or Belgium (In 1795, the French revolutionaries annexed the Austrian Netherlands - where modern-day Belgium is.) - Only small budget to start off.

My favorite and longest save is always the journeyman career. You get one season to do as much as you can with one team. At the end of the season, you must leave. Are you going to be a tactician that forces your system to work everywhere or are you going to be a man manager that adjusts to your teams and makes your team work. Also, do you have certain favorites that come along with you from place to place? Start with a very low tier league and move your way up to the top 5 leagues.

My current save is a youth academy/ regen save where I try to make as many wordclass players as possible and have my influence spread across the football World currently on my 5th season

Considering I always try to build up the Canadian national team in every save I'm surprised I never did a fully Canadian MLS save. Time to give CF Montreal a try (Might mod in the old Impact logo)

Hmmm definitely going to have to do a FSV Swabia created club in Germany and a Cleveland SC for the MLS. Soooo many ideas for England as there are many historic clubs to choose from and recreate 🤔😭

With mods in Fifa 22 I did a Fly Emirates save just managing clubs sponsored by them on the kit. So Olympiacos -> Benfica -> Lyon -> Arsenal -> Milan. Was fun and let certain players develop by the time I got there.

My longest save was with my created club Berwick Rovers started in leauge two with the lowest budget and a young team alot i put out on loan and only tried to sign players from scotland or north of england

I’m currently doing a rtg with enock mwepu as he’s had to retire due to heart condition but doesn’t see his life without the sport so could end up coaching so it’s a good concept , aswell you could copy the Andorra concept with a small nation in a diffrent nations league like Luxembourg in the French league or I’ve got a crazy gang save solely based upon the original teams tactics and finding similar modern day players to fufill certain roles and bring them back to the premier league

I started a career in Switzerland with FC Vaduz from Lichtenstein I was a little disappointed I couldn’t get their badge fully into it cause they didn’t have the right shape but otherwise it went well I said I couldn’t stop until I won a European trophy I ended up winning the Europa league after like 5 seasons

my favourite long term saves are the ones that are not supposed to be long term. in fifa 18, i started a derby county career because they had €120m of budget (due to a bug in the nintendo switch version of the game) even though they were in the championship. I just wanted to have some fun for a couple hours, and I ended up buying the best players in the world for each position after 12 seasons (except for Christensen who did not want to join even though I offered him €1m per week lol).

just opened the save, the highest rated player in the world in 2030 is Jan Oblak (94 rated, despite being 37 y/o). Also seems like I've discovered Lautaro Martinez before Inter did and I bought Krystian Bielik, who was actually bought by Derby in real life

My longest running save was actually the only one I’ve ever done for all 15 seasons. I took Oldham back to the Prem & then just played the last 8 years & won as much as I could. Ended up with 5 Prems, 3 UCLs, 1 Europa, 4 FA Cups, and a Super Cup. Never did the Treble. That was my only disappointment.
